parkez - I don't look down on anyone. At times, you do not help yourself. You have dived straight in there about the 'Primer' issue, probably in your eagerness to score a cheap point! Reading between the lines, I get the impression that you are chasing a bit too hard when it comes to investing! GGP even better value today than it was last week.GL
The following FACT, for some reason, seems difficult for some people to understand! On 29th Feb in response to the virus, the FDA relaxed its EUA requirements. Our application was submitted BEFORE this decision, on or around 4th Feb. Therefore, our application was already under review and consideration under the old system and that would still appear to be the case. Here's another FACT that people also have some difficulty with understanding. It's a big world and a whole-of-the world market for diagnostic test and related equipment has been created. Is that simple enough for you and the others Wolfie!

Gerry65, Nice play on words!
Most definitely a kid in a sweet shop scenario last week and today. My long term holdings remain as they were. HUR looks like a very good long term recovery play. Cashed up, cash generative with 20,000 barrels a day. GGP excellent value IMO at 2.5. NCM drilling Havieron at breakneck speed, making the MRE possible as early as Sept! BMN equally good value at around 10p. Mojapelo's masterplan for Bushveld Energy might take a little longer to execute now, but he will deliver it. I've done very well out of NYCT although at times the bb has been like Rourke's drift, thousands of them coming over the hill all at once. I've no idea where they come from but they just keep coming, mostly empty handed! It's been good fun though, circumstances notwithstanding. Necker Island might be offered as package destination for the first time if the breaded one becomes unbreaded, although we might have to row there! GL

Novacyt's Announcement following PHE'S Evaluation of its Diagnostic Test - Boris Johnson & Chris Witty less than honest!
Boris Johnson & Chris Witty have not been honest or transparent in their news conference. They had a clear opportunity to reassure the public of this country that a reliable and accurate test is being used by PHE and the NHS Trusts. They have clearly witheld information on the diagnostic tests now available. Why have they not reassured the public about testing, particulalrly after the World Health Organisation's recommendation of 'test, test, test'? Utterly shameful.
Here is the announcemnt from Novacyt earlier today. The full text is available on the company's website:
Following the completion of Public Health England's (PHE) formal evaluation of Primerdesign's COVID-19 test, as announced on 12 March 2020, the government agency has commenced ordering the test. Orders are initially for eight hospitals to provide stocks in those locations for four weeks of planned testing.
Graham Mullis, Chief Executive Officer of Novacyt, commented:
"We welcome Public Health England's decision to use our COVID-19 test in the UK and I am delighted to see that Novacyt will now be supporting one of its home markets during these challenging times.
I shall leave you to decide if Johnson & Witty were open and transparent in their news conference!
NCYT'S test is going to be front and centre of all of this. It's only a matter of time before one of the journalists I've been in contact with run the Novacyt story, in particular the role that its test is playing in the fight against COVID-19. By the end of this week, NOVACYT will be all over the media!
