share price in the context of reported buys and sells .
No obvious reason for this drift other than a vacuum of news which I expect will be addressed very soon .
Perhaps some interested party being accommodated in this murky AIM market , who knows .
Once we have clarification on the three major issues in the next few weeks (CPR , Production , Flow rates .)
I suspect there will be a serious rerate and I hope a rapid escalation in the sp .

The City should crawl back to work next week , so I hope that we may see some positive action in what has been a bit of an extended period in the Doldrums . Certainly a swathe of news is expected ~~~ imminently ?

TTTA : i certainly agree that this has taken days to work through . I can`t remember seeing a trade of this magnitude which implies interest from a serious investor / perhaps II / Fund .
Obviously it would be encouraging to know if it was a buy , equally , if it were a sell someone wanted out and they are now gone . so either way its in the price now .
fwiw ~~~ I think it was likely a sell . The price suggests a sell and It would certainly account for the sp weakness over the last few weeks. There are still some very big holders from the pre .05p days who may have wished to crystalise a profit in the face of a declining sp ~~~ Who knows ?
It matters little , it`s in all in the price now , except , if we knew it were a buy it would be a massive vote of confidence .
But ~ I`m super confident irrespective of the current `Sale Price` !

In all parameters I see this business in a different league to those which you mention, we are only there under the vague and general classification of `Green` .
For reasons posted on numerous occasions , we have been , inevitably , punished simply by ~ delays .
Valuation will be corrected . I,m confident that correction will begin next year .

Impossible to predict , but surely many multiples of the current early January Sale price !

to see people lose their money , but quite honestly the writing was clearly on the wall as far back as the missing trucks and the missing money . Let`s not even mention that Kohinoor Diamond nonsense . There have been so many warnings about the efficacy of this Company and particularly the competency and integrity of the BoD , especially AP who has been ducking and diving for at least the last three years .
All very sad for those who still have an interest here .

Nelson : Excellent summary , I completely agree with you . In a sense that is the other side of the coin to my earlier comment .
My feeling is that the slow , steady self funding approach might just hasten the need for a partnership to combat some less welcome approach . Very comfortable with CH at the helm , which is SO unusual for these AIM Companies . I think we can see the pieces of this jig saw , but can`t quite piece it together yet . Also , like yourself , relaxed about the direction the business takes and confident we will strongly advance .
Others with operational interests will surely be some steps ahead of we mere `Cannon Fodder `, which prompts me to say that I am a huge admirer of Nelson , The Admiral , ~~~ Great name for a dog !

MM`s can ,(and sometimes do) with hold publication of trades for up to a week !
Now why would they do that ?
There are many reasons . In this case there may well be some development in the background .
For example a very , VERY large order being filled ~ at a predetermined price / range .
Now why would that be ?
As I see it , ZPHR is sitting on a huge `Almost` guaranteed highly profitable , undeveloped resource and `Undeveloped` is perhaps the key to the undeveloped Market Cap .
To develop and monetise this asset is going to require some serious financial resource . ZPHR will need to raise money (CH says no dilution ) , enter some partnership /JV , or , just sell on .
The next piece in this jig saw is the CPR . Some will already have a shrewd idea about future value , but there will be no deal until that report is complete . That doesn`t mean that pre report activity and future directional planning is not well underway in fact , it quite likely will be .
I`m not sure that a resource of this magnitude and future value (tbc) will remain the sole interest of CH and his team for long I just can`t see them being able to `Go it alone`~
~ AND ~
That may be the reason behind the paltry Mkt Cap , the range bound price and the strange sp movements .
I think the Company is very vunerable at c. 100 M , perhaps 200M + some boardroom sweetners would do it , which would certainly make the early birds here very comfortable .
I don`t know , just some thoughts .
Anyway ~ One other thing is `Almost Guaranteed` , This silly share price will surely rise !

~ But , I am far less knowledgable of the machinations and operations of O&G companies than many on this site , however I do think that those of us who are invested here , large or small , can readily appreciate the extraordinary value in this particular venture .
If Mr Market does not adjust that valuation soon ~ very soon ~ I fear that we may become the victim of some adventurous premature take over .
However , we are also extremely fortunate to have the hand of CH on the tiller and clearly a very capable professional team in support .

Well ~ I can understand people`s disappointment , the news today was SO spectacular that I`m sure most felt that 8p+ was nailed on , but to see the price drift back down and finish below 8p ~ well ~ that was surely disappointing . There always seems to have been a `Reason` why this Company has had such muted reaction to a continual flow of seriously positive news .
Yes ~ Disappointing .
BUT ~
There are almost always `Reasons`.
In this particular case ; certainly some short termers , T traders , and the determination to crystalise a profit .
There is always the chatter in the backrooms , and we will never know just how the major future investors are going to play this or indeed how they may actually be currently operating to acquire a future substantial interest .
This is the issue surrounding the real market movers who for the moment have really not shown their hand nor entered with some sizable commitment .
fwiw ~ I think all this will change , we might have to wait for the CPR , perhaps not but this Company is most definitely an absolute gem of investment , and this is still available at a bargain basement price !

Davemcmanus : In response to your post I would point out that :
* On at least three occasions (to my memory) I questioned the integrity of AJW , his relationship with the BoD and his extraordinary (always up to date) information about the Company , which seemed to mirror information or at least the information which the BoD would wish us to believe .
* On each occasion I received a terse response from him claiming that he was a private investor , had recently owned some tech / private PR company and that he had absolutely NO dealings with the BoD . He stated that he had never met them .
* You are absolutely WRONG to say that I supported AJW`s ramping campaign .
* On the contrary , to my considerable cost I supported this outrageously incompetent BoD and prior to the sale of the majority of my holding here I was VERY critical of their activities , strategy and behaviour .
* Of Haywood I have always been suspicious and critical .
* Of Dimmock I was ambivalent , I strongly supported his re-election because it was quite obvious that the alternative would have almost certainly led to the immediate collapse of the share price , possibly the Company and Ironically to a share price level that we have today .
* It seemed clear to me that the continued share issue for salary , of which I was also very critical , indicated that the Company was in desperate financial straights . Raising further funds would have been nigh on impossible , that contractors and probably many employees would just dump their shares and that the only likely beneficiaries would be Haywood and his board colleagues in the event of a t/o .
*My recent posting when I held a serious position here reflected those views .
I made it clear that I had sold , and for those reasons .

So ~ Davemcmanus ~ just get your facts straight .

Investments are to be bought AND sold , usually as news and developments take either a positive or negative direction .
I am nursing a large loss here , but thankful that I dumped most of my holding c. 2p albeit too late .

Make no mistake this Company is in a very tenuous position .
I believe that Haywood and his directors have ZERO credibility , I have said so on numerous occasions .
AND ~ fwiw ~ I recall that you were `Late for this party` .
I wondered if you ever held the stock and I was , and remain , suspicious of your motivation and postings .
In short ; you are not a poster that I would consider to be either trustworthy or of information value .

By the way , I have never abused anyone on this board , although I have shown , regularly , total contempt for Haywood and that alone is a good enough reason to leave this investment to those who continue to support and believe in his strategy .

I can`t . The situation here is awful .
What a disappointment Dimmock has turned out to be after the huge vote of support when his train was about to crash and the gravy spill onto his lap .
I think there`s been some real skulduggery involved . Where did that AJW go and why did he go ? I guess we`ll never know .
In the last chapter here , my feeling is that the Jersey boy will pick up the pieces thanking us for the huge discount since the failure of his coup . In such instances there are usually never enough crumbs left to feed a flock of pigeons .
I can`t talk about haywood ~ polite , acceptable words would escape my description , and total incompetence is totally inadequate .
All I would say ( and fwiw , that is the route that I took) painful , probably very painful though it is , something is always better than nothing and it is still possible to salvage something .
I hope that I may be wide of the mark and that matters take a turn for the better .

Hello MALBRAD : I can`t argue with any of the logic that you have highlighted .
Your observations work in both directions and I`m not wholly convinced that we were the beneficiaries of current production and potential at the higher oil price .
The important issue of course revolves around the , as yet , unknown volume of oil ( and perhaps Gas which seems to me to have attached so far a zero valuation ) which Zephyr may produce on completion of the flow tests .
Presumably angst will then surround rates of depletion but hopefully offset by CPR , possible Gas , and an aggressive forward drilling program , perhaps even an exciting partnership arrangement .
In this period of news vacuum , I suppose it`s open season for those who control valuation at least until we have some quantifiable information regarding production .
Frustrating ~~~ but exciting !
