There is little to say until more definitive information re closures , production and particularly North Fork and any developments in the USA .
It`s been a rather disappointing performance , over expectations regarding timescales and delivery , but the whole sector became a little too bloated prematurely .
A little concerned that further funding `MAY` be required , I don`t think there is enough info to focus in on that .
Im sure this WILL come good , but I`m looking at a longer haul toward profitability .
With the proviso that should / when the Wood interest becomes more of a reality than an interest , then off we go again !

quite surprised at the low trading volumes after the raise .
Although there was quite a bit of strange trading before the funding announcement , Is that the end of the usual churn ?
Perhaps the beneficiaries are handcuffed until the share issue / s and are unable to forward sell .
Perhaps they`ve collapsed the price too far to make trades viable .
Perhaps ~~~ just perhaps , they can see the value here and may actually be invested ~
I`m not holding my breath on that one !
We`ve dropped a long way from c. 7p , news update should hopefully see us regain forward momentum .

I noticed that CH originally said mid Feb for the CPR . In his latest statement Mid to late Feb .
We all want these details yesterday , unfortunately we have to dance to the tune of the Company timetable .

I would say it`s a signal of definitive confidence and I hope that all those who moaned about 5p stock not being available will take this opportunity to buy in the Market at a paltry 001p premium . A good broker might even be able to find some at 5p ,
but , I doubt this sale will last for long .

Btw ~~~ I see that the much championed PXEN , by a few unscrupulous traders on here and elsewhere is being `undressed` .

Despite initial costs etc , I would love to see ZPHR move to the main markets .

I imagine that most current holders of this stock are likely to hold as we wait for the news flow on so many issues that will likely have a very positive effect on the valuation of the business .
I`m very pleased that this raise will have been completed in advance of the announcements to come .
I think the 90M mkt cap is more than covered by current production , it will surely be blown away with revised production figures , the CPR and as additional wells are brought on stream .
Those who wanted to buy that stock which was apparently set aside for shareholders might as well buy in the market now while the stock is on sale . My suspicion is that this element of the raise was always earmarked for a specific individual .
We will never know , but I am pretty certain that there will be NO stock available for the ordinary shareholder .
Not a big issue , and possibly a real positive .

I agree Whistler .
I suspect that the Broker Placing will / has already been well oversubscribed .
I doubt many (any ? ) PI`s will be involved . Just a gesture , but I suspect `Someone` wanted a little more stock .
We should have the outcome tomorrow and I expect that will help to move the price forward .

All so very obvious , but I`m a coward when it comes to `Trading` ,and have always got it wrong in the past .
I`ll leave that game for the gambling fraternity .
However (not yet fully digested) this looks to be an outstanding value accretive arrangement .
So glad this is all cleared up BEFORE production , results and CPR , which I think will see recent lost ground recovered .
In the meantime there`s bound to be a bit more churn but I think we hit the floor this morning and expectforward momentum to accelerate as value generating news is released over the next few weeks / months .

I bought a few more earlier this morning but can`t get an on line quote at the moment .
The share price shenanigans over the last couple of weeks has been extraordinary , even by AIM standards .
5.8p seems a bit of a giveaway in the context of what we `BELIEVE` we know .
Waiting for confirmation ~ 95% confident whatever the short term news !

The fall now means that CH probably needs to say something .
I`m sticking to my thoughts , although the reason /s for non financial closure and possible raise could be the subject of many variables .
We can`t go on like this , News is almost a given for next week ~ imo .

Yes , it`s been a bit of a b....r having to wait so long for the deal to be finalised , but the nd result , which can`t be far away now
(I`m thinking news will start to break next week ) will be worth the wait .
I would just add that there has been little or zero value attributed to the acquisition . Simply because it has not been finalised .
Also , i think their current non op assets more than justify the current 6p sale price !
Forget today`s share price I really believe this is a spectacular , very rare opportunity , to invest in a growth opportunity that comes along perhaps once in a decade !

what`s going on here ~ imo .
As mentioned before 36M is a sizable amount of cash to raise for the acquisition .
I`m sure the II`s will be happy to oblige but they will likely want a piece of the action AND security .
I suspect CH has been forced to issue a relatively small amount of stock to cement a deal .
Cash + Shares looks like the outcome . Probably at 6p .
II`s are (As usual) forward selling shares which they will receive .
Confirmation of the deal should become apparent next week I think .
Post clarification I imagine we will get the CPR (probably very positive) and the flow tests (probably highly positive)
the sp will recover and the II`s will (as usual) have got their double win .
Pity CH couldn`t hold out , but in the medium term perhaps even short term , this scould make spectacular advances , especially with some additional cash to develop this special asset .

Adon : When news flow stalls or appears delayed , our imagination runs wild .
Good post and clear thinking in what has become a somewhat cloudy situation .
Financing ~ The Achilles Heel of AIM .
Despite the determined position of CH to avoid a placing , perhaps this may be necessary , or perhaps some combination of debt and raise . Finding some 36 M is no small task , irrespective of the value and future benefit .
Mr Market always gets the scent in the air first .
A question of patience for believers .

disappointment since the euphoria of 8th December .
However , trade volumes have been small and every time we drop to this 6.50ish level we have a little bounce back .
My feeling is that the market needs the whole story and that current valuation is based solely on known and expected revenue from producing wells . There can be no valuation of future potential until The CPR and full financial detail of the acquisition is published . I also note that any slack has been judiciously taken up at around this 6.5p level , I`ve even managed to add a few myself !
All very frustrating , but I have confidence that CH will not release some half baked story , he`s going to wait until all the detail and facts are correctly lined up and double checked .
Of course there is the possibility that in the background something else is being worked .
We will just have to wait and see ~~~ not much longer now .
Friday 4th Feb ? Although I would prefer Monday 7th . Not a fan of a Friday RNS !
