In fact this was always a really good thread with some very knowledgeable posters , but during this past 9 months we have been subjected a few less than honourable individuals who have enthusiastically encouraged dissent and suspicion . They made this a negative traders dream which is in part why we are at this very low sp (IMO) . Unfortunately some of the valued contributors seemed to have drifted away . Hopefully they may return as better news unfolds next year .

I don`t follow `Malcy` , but , his 20p may not be quite so fanciful if all the possible pieces of the Jigsaw fall into place .

I don`t think so , even in the disreputable AIM , which has all but zero discipline and control .

The current sp is the only clear indicator that I can see .

One thing I do know is that CH is currently twixt a rock and a hard place . I`m sure he knows he has some serious issues to address to rebuild confidence here .

I suspect that some were expecting a definitive statement on flow rates today .

The price investors are paying for misunderstanding RNS , and a price the Company are paying for releasing information that while accurate , is not 100% clear , obvious and simple to understand . People really should not have to contact the business to clarify the current state of operations .

Unfortunately the consequences of misfortune and delay have had a dramatic affect on the credibility and value of the business .

But ~ Everything still to play for , but we may have to wait a few more months . I would hope that by the spring there will be an even more dramatic reversal of fortunes and that the potential of Paradox is at last revealed .

Although events have also conspired to facilitate gambling activity and as you say ; the MM`s love it .

Unfortunately in these circumstances some potential investors have become collateral damage as the sp has weakened .

With the likely possibility of positive developments early 2024 , perhaps the 3.7 M sale this morning is an example . It is also necessary to put into perspective external market events which have impacted the value of the Company over the past year or so . Most O&G exploration Companies have suffered similar declines , and of course this general AIM malaise must have had a considerable impact :

Next year should (I hope) see a dramatic return of interest / success / value ~ and personal fortune .

I don`t think you`ll be disappointed . Only a few months and we should start to see some of the long expected action .

I fully understand why CH would wish to `Go it alone` , any partnership will dilute his authority , his control but most importantly his considerable financial interests in this business .

The blow out this year has changed everything , it must have changed the original strategy . CH seems to have been very reluctant to accept this and its obvious consequences . Without the support of a viable professional partner progress is likely to continue in the slow lane and the risks for private investors is likely to increase . As mentioned many times ; Zephyr may be asset rich but , it is cash poor and simply does not have the critical mass to drive this project forward . Ironically , if CH does not secure the support of an honourable partner , the Company may fall prey to some unwelcome takeover .

My feeling is that the reality of this situation has dawned and that CH is quite possibly working on securing an appropriate partnership or JV , perhaps even as a top priority ~~~ I hope so !

I continue to believe that Zephyr can not `Go it alone` . There seems now to be too much obfuscation , secrecy and information vacuum . I`m wondering if progress with some partner for a farmout or JV are in fact being advanced and that information flow is being suppressed until talks or an agreement is finalised .......

Unfortunately , I think you will find that they are roll overs .

and ~ a usually dangerous game .

They could be lucky this time but unless they eventually buy the stock this is just gambling , not investing .

19.41 : You are absolutely correct Elland , But , you`ll never convince the `Armchair Roughnecks` whose closest association with an oil well is a petrol pump at Tesco . Then there are the over ambitious pay roll clerks who would be CEO`s , but their expertise extends to the preface in `Company Management for DUMMIES` .

Then there are the the Tricky Traders , The Dyslexic Dopes who don`t read RNS or the Company Web Site and of course the Mischevious MM`s who are happy to fan the flames in any direction because they never lose .

Fortunately they have all had plenty of airtime over the past year , so we all know who they are and how to treat their pearls of wisdom .

The Circus will leave town next year and I hope to see them starting to pack up in the next couple of months , but in a perverse sort of way we have to thank them all for facilitating an investment opportunity at c.3p !
