The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
We need to tell the USA,France,Germany,Italy,Australia and all countries that we trade with it`s our way or the highway. Things have to be done the way we do them in good old blighty. What an uneducated backward looking moron you have shown yourself to be. Theres a word for people who look at other peoples the way you do. It cannot be printed on this billboard. Its not prejudicial its stronger than that.
` i believe him more than them` Thats your problem your gullible and naive and believe what your told.` They need to get their tax and legal system in order.` Unbelievable. Just looki9ng down your nose at other countries and their people.
Joe the days of empire and the Raj are long gone try joining the real world and show some respect to other countries and cultures.
What utter arrogance. Look at me i`m British and everything we have is better than what you have. What makes you think their tax regime is not in order.
They are attracting plenty of western companies but not all of them are trying to didge paying tax. What an ******* you are
ericnat i agree that the bill is of little consequence but your assumption that it will be overturned makes no sense at all. They have not even committed themselves to an appeal yet and if it`s so cut and dried why has the original decision gone against them. Your comment that they would not commit the company to further legal costs again makes no sense. THEY HAVE NOT MADE THAT COMMITTMENT
As i said earlier the amount to pay is of little consequence but these posters pretending to know more than the Moroccan tax authorities or the workings of their tax system make me laugh. You don`t now how it works so stop pretending you do.
Yes the bank that the Moroccan royal family own 25% of. Puts them in a strong position to take control of Sounds assets if Sound fall into liquidation. If they cannot pay this ad the outstanding tax claims. They would then have control of their own gas. Just a wild theory. Seems to be the norm on here.
What are you saying Joe. Even though the tax is due they should let Sound off
ericnat why is it a big if. The tribunal has just stated we are liable. Why can you not accept that. What information do you have to contest that decision. I`ll tell you, none at all just bull.... Anyway in one way it`s a good thing. At least we now know where we are and what we have to pay. The posters who think they know better were wrong and should accept that. Nothing has changed just another bill to pay. Big drop on the SP i suspect because the BOD has shown a lack of judgement. No doubt KTF will be along shortly to call the claim spurious and mock the Moroccan people some of whom herd goats. It`s not ****** just seems like it
Like a drug addict that cannot look in the mirror and admit he has a problem Bobby i suspect you are unwilling to admit that you have lost money here. Your wife or partner boyfriend or girlfriend needs to be told. Just in case you have not noticed the SP is going down to levels not seen. In your opinion the company is in a better place than ever.
You and abzzba make me laugh.`give it time` i hear and that`s all i hear, more and more time so the BOD can keep filling their chops. Man up ad admit it, you have lost money.
No azbbza you are on this board to mislead and deceive others into believing Echo is making progress. Why you would quote from Only Fools and Horses is beyond me. You are Del Boy constantly believing things will turn around. Look on top of the cooker
lancs short for vile nasty human like creature devoid of intelligence or sympathy for others
ericnat17 you do present an excellent case for not only staying on board but for investing . I only wish the market had your confidence. Whilst the current SP might make no difference in the long term it does contribute to the nagging doubt that all is not as it seems. Time will tell
And tested
The SP is not going to recover.
azbbza what a pathetic little person you are. You must be a paid ramper. You cannot possibly be that moronic to keep saying wait, wait wait. Shareholders are genuinely concerned about their investments being frittered away by the board and you mock them. `Nothing has changed` is without doubt the most stupid comment i have ever seen on this board.
Bless `em they still believe even after all these years. Still i suppose it`s only natural. A lot easier than facing the truth. They have done their money paying wages to a B.O.D. that fails to act or communicate.
Still this time next year we will all be millionaires or the year after or the year after, you get my gist. Never mind as long as you can afford to lose the money and the missus or hubby doesn`t mind it`s all ok.
The value of the business is reflected in the share price
This is indeed very positive news. Also with this bank being owned by the Moroccan royal family i am persuaded to believe the tax debt will disappear.
However, i have to ask what will it take to shift this SP. Up 3% on news of this magnitude? Still there`s no denying this is a huge step forward for Sound. Importantly within the Moroccan banking system. My cup might become half full
Whilst i can understand the positivity of some posters whether it be well worked out research or wishful thinking i cannot understand the negative SP. If as some continually post the future looks rosy why is the SP at this level.
There are people on this board who no doubt are experienced investors but the big institutional investors do not share their confidence in Sound. If they did the SP would be rising. The posters who say they are pleased with a low SP are being untruthful. That`s putting it mildly. If a major came to purchase Sound shareholder might recover their losses with 6p to 8p a share
Finally lets not forget the tax issue. It`s still there.
I see you had my original post removed
Sorry to all other posters as i realise it`s not the topic for this board but Jessica Arnolds comment`i implore people to stop using private health it`s killing the NHS. Anyway lets hope we have some good news soon to stop the slide in the SP price.
