Please see my reply to bobbyrash. Silly billy as i am
Thanks bobbyrash so only Argentina is relevant to Echo. Any losses Interoil suffer in Colombia will not affect Echo. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
One per cent increase? If i read it correctly. I would have hoped for more than that from all these workovers. Anyway lets get today out of the way and see how much they can ramp production
When i first came to this stock i believed it was an undervalued asset with an intrinsic value far in excess of its market value. That was some years ago. Normally to realise it`s true value the company needs a change of management with a new outlook. There have been some bad luck with unforeseen circumstances but the real problem is continued bad management.
I cannot see an upturn here, i wish i could. I wish i had abzzba`s confidence in the BOD (i still have my suspicions about his involvement) and obviously i hope he is correct but i don`t think he is. Time will tell but it`s going to be a long time if at all.
Here we are back at .255 with an ask of .26. Took 2 hours not 2 weeks. Same old story posters predictions being made to look ridiculous. You would think they would learn but like i say we do not know who they are. The only clue is if you see someone walking down the street with egg on his face shout`hey tombi1 how`s it going`
Yes this is good news. No doubt about that but comments like we have left the 25-26 range make me laugh. Lets give it 2 weeks to see if this rise in the SP can be sustained.
You got me We will never meet so whatever we write is of little consequence. If we had met or do in the future we will be none the wiser as i never mention the Wombles in public. I`m sure you lose no sleep over me calling you a Womble but some on here get really annoyed. As if they are defending a close friend. I have to admit i will not lose any sleep over the `mast! Now when are you saying the SP will rise
Excuse me you are doing exactly the same. Predicting a time when you will have profit. You are picking random numbers the same as i was. I`ll have a bet it will be nearer my timeline than yours. I`ll see you at the private school gymkhana when you will no doubt have your snout in the trough.
Just could not be decent could you. Go jump in your cesspit. Horrible human being
My God i am ill. `a little galling for you` not `foe you` Also why the m on the end of abzzba. Sorry i need ti lie down.
As your angle alludes to you need some help. Pretty self explanatory His angle is needsomehelp. I helped him. I have been a little unwell of late and was rushing my post this morning. As you say i caught the arithmetical error immediately and wanted to correct it before some smart alec returning from his walk on Wimbledon Common jumped down my throat. Normally i read them before posting. Mast have been a little galling foe you abzzbam not being able to correct me yourself. Nice to know you attach such importance to my posts that you monitor them. As i do yours
Sorry you own 5%
If there are 100 shares in a company and you own 10 of them then you own 10% of the company. If the company increases the share pool to 200 then you own 2.5% of the company. Obviously as your angle alludes to you do need some help.
Ranger never mentioned the SP.
Lot of anger in the posts lately. Chill people chill. The tax issue will be challenged and i think successfully but even if not successful i think a payment plan will be agreed. No sign of the gas crises easing in the foreseeable future so as long as Sounds plans stay on course shareholders will get their rewards in six or seven years' time. Ten at the most. Have a good weekend all.
Good analogy
azbbza not sure what your breakeven point is and i would not believe you if you told me but if you're going to hold for another couple of years you`ll never get your money back. As my esteemed fellow poster, ranger104uk a legend in Ukraine has pointed out many times this is a lifestyle company.
abzzba why do you believe that a 40% increase in production will mean a 40% increase in value. What a simple way of looking at business. Or rather i should say a simpleton's way of looking at it. Any fool knows that extra work brings extra costs. Direct costs may not rise but indirect costs certainly will.
Now time for me to revert to type. Is this you not understanding how business costs work or another example of you acting as The Great Deceiver
Another great post full of relevant information. Thanks, Ducati.
All good points in my opinion apart from one. You say it`s now or never but surely you seen azbbza`s post. If nothing happens over the next 3 months. Well this has happened so now extend to 6 months and on and on and on.
I am sorry to say but i cannot see shareholder getting a return here. As a former poster has pointed out on numerous occasions it`s a life style company. (i say former as he has not posted lately) Posters keep talking about the huge gas price but Echos new contract price was nowhere near some we have seen. Also they are not huge producers so the increase in monetary terms is not great. The same applies to oil. The way some talk it's as if they believe oil prices have quadrupled. Anyway do your best to belittle my post my only defence is SP .255
VOXALLC yes you are endorsing what many posters, myself included have said that as long as they agree a payment plan the amount owed will be no problem.
I cannot see a scenario where they would not give time to pay. Hopefully the legal process will take a lot longer than the 6 to 12 months you mention. I believe that Sound have not yet received the reasons for the judgement on the first claim which was adjudicated some 3 months ago. Thats just their reasons. They then have to give you time to prepare your case for appeal and so on. My belief is more like 19 to 24 months.
What was all the panic about the SP is not far5 off what it was before the tax news landed.
Most posters including myself were confident that a payment plan was workable. It still is
