For me the encouraging thing is the volume of trading since the two RNSs which indicates a renewed interest in the share. The more people involved, the faster it will move with further news.

The day traders are out in force today. Some of the early buys will have turned into late sells as they take their margin. Hopefully the run of buys towards the end will give us a bit of strength to move towards 6p tomorrow (they're open in the morning aren't they?).

Cost per barrel will vary according to output because there some costs which are fixed and need to be shared between the barrels. On the other hand fixed costs are likely to rise with the increased drilling activity. Taxes also vary by output so guessing the profits is quite a challenge.

Checking back on the RNS record, although we have had RNSs in the first half of December, we don't get Xmas RNSs. Given that they have also gone over to quarterly reporting, I am now definitely of the opinion that the next RNS will be in 2022.
