MM will not risk being dethroned against his will. From the mooted calls about giving up the GS up early in the middle of last year.
This was always going to be the plan. He’s doesn’t want a premium listing incase of a hostile take over, I genuinely believe with all the activist vultures circling the pressure will be too strong for him.
Figures get disgust behind closed doors and we’re a lot further on in the process than most would think. Apollo will no MM’s take and it’s then a case of him persuading ii’s. As pi’s we’re just spectators in all this and will be the last to know as always.
This is exactly the issue you face in the UK now, low volumes give hedge funds free rein to discredit and cripple SP’s. Unfortunately they hunt in packs making it very hard to change the narrative until a situation like this. MM is a very easy target for them because he doesn’t just accept that this is the way of the market, rightfully so also!!
Shorts will be reducing but I can’t see them closing completely. If this situation doesn’t go the way we all think and hope it’s going then the heat will be well and truly applied.
I think £2.25 takes this private but let’s see…
Interested to see how the Sunday Times tries to put a negative spin on this in their weekly MM smear campaign.
I like most would be happy to see I nice profit but I’d personally prefer if it wasn’t sold to a PE firm. Long term there’s far more in this for investors than a quick flip return.
The way Friday was following trend i was pleasantly surprised when alerts started pinging for a positive adjustment for a change.
Have a good weekend all. Could be a nice short squeeze in early trading Monday.
I’m not sure what makes you think that? If the averages are correct this will close at about 113/114 today unfortunately.
Downward momentum from 09:00 onwards unfortunately.
I’m long here but the charts don’t lie I’m afraid.
Long term I’ve been saying this shouldn’t be at this price but the moving averages are absolutely shocking. They’re actually getting worse which is more concerning, the board had to act and they chose not to. I hold a large position here which is worrying, I can see this going as low as 75p.
Sentiment is terrible and nothing has changed to stop that.
The technicals and the boards lack of communication is very worrying here, still holding for the long term but anyone looking for a fast recovery here is sadly dreaming.

Qube no longer present so they’ve gone below 0.5%, taking their money and going.
Heavily discounted still, great buying opportunity IMO.
I think with market volatility this year the results end of March may be just as good as last year. Not too sure on the 10% fixed charge is high compared to most competitors but if they’re making a nice multiple then I guess nobody with scrutinise this until it changes.
Seems to be a fair support at 165.
I was long on a lot of others that didn’t get off to the best of starts also, Ocado is a good example. Bought in 2012 and made a nice stack when I sold my entire holding in lockdown.
People will always make noice, it’s usually the ones that have a £100 short that make the most.
Don’t let others influence your investment choices. Do your own analysis and research. But media and message boards are polluted with personal agendas this was more than most.
See you all on a few years time.
If you scroll through the board you’ll find petty name calling from individuals and other personal attacks.
We’re all adults who share a common interest,(pun intended) so let’s be respectful even if you don’t agree with what’s being said.
Firstly just want to say this board has become a bit toxic recently, can we please keep it respectful. I used to enjoy reading stuff on here but recently it’s become a harem for trolls it seems.
Anyway, in the IPO launch target set MM stated by 2022 THG would be profitable. What if like most of the targets set it’s going to happen a lot sooner and by summer? MM is likely to give up the golden share a year sooner also (Hopefully I’m the next announcement). Then with a new chairman and subsequently a listing on current MC on the FTSE250 you now have a really attractive business structure which is in profit. For me I think MM giving up the golden share and THG making profit sooner than expected should be the catalyst to propel the SP. But let’s see……
