I have an HL ac - charges 0.45% and ii charge £10 a month but give a trade credit in the price - they charge £7.99 per trade which is also cheaper than HL.
Usual fx charges but same on both.

Long on to HL , tick a few boxes to say you are U.K. resident and that’s about it. Done it myself on HL. No problem- 2 minute job.
Buy your shares in ISA or SIPP. I have Argo in both.

Hardly done anything in the US either .. so surely not an LSE issue??

Is it just a general drop today, though 10% isn’t insignificant, or something more. Notice PHE , EQT are also on the slide so is it a wider market drop not based on anything specific regarding NEL?

Am still in Argo and though it rose , retracted and is back up. They have just signed up for a new “factory “ in west Texas because it has cheap power- 800Mw!!
BTC is here to stay and they are a very smart clever company. When they hit sp of $2 they will list on Nasdaq a d then it will rock up again- currently at $1.84...
Might not be your usual play but I heard it said they will be the next Apple!! Could easily turn profit

I was also under the impression that you could sell , say 20k worth of share in a trading account - leave it as cash for 30 days and then buy back in your ISA and not pay CGT.
