Gosh Seattle, you make my 11p almost a sound investment! To be fair if the new licencing model actually delivers - and we've signed a couple of deals already, plus we actually get the earn-out then 25p will be easily achievable in say 2-3 years. As you say bottom drawer and leave it.

Exactly 13th. This could have been allied to the new reactor and, presumably, record year figures and been a powerful update.

My hope is that this will happen anyway. HDD is very good at hiding it's light under a bush but this release is for me an indication that the O & G industry is starting to view HDD as the goto coatings place. High margin business I guess.

I am so frustrated. We should do close to 40Mill revenue this year and break into profit with some 20Mill cash in the bank - and what's our MC - just a lousy 46Mill!!

In fact since the fund raise 18 months ago the sp has steadily declined. I only hope that the reason we are unloved is because we didn't do Ronseal and what we said on the tin - which was actually make acquisitions!

To be fair the acquisitions we have made are very good but sitting on some 20 Mill for well over a year is taking due diligence to a whole new, perhaps useless, level and makes no business sense and is possibly business adverse.

I fully believe that if we actually did spend the money on businesses that drew stock market approval we would have an immediate 50% sp rise.

However if I've been here this long, oh yes I did down hole technology, that I will definitely stay but feel we've wasted a year.

Yes. Both deals will have a good effect on next years 1st half. If, as intended, these are shape of things to come then we will have started next year well. I have posted before that earn-outs can be problematical but if we do actually get ours then we appear to have a plan! Once this clarifies then the sp will reflect this - there is a lot of potential here. Next years figures will be crucial.

So no milestone payments in the 1st half which is now some 18 months without any. Maybe the Ecuador July IUU contract may deliver something but as it's a 3 year contract (with no announced price tag) it may be small.

We've 4 months for the Visible Sales Pipeline to deliver not only a contract or two but also a payment or two. Another duff year could be major problem. I feel squeaky bum time coming on!!

Interesting post Richie. In July we appointed a business development engineer in Houston. If he's successful I wonder whether we will open up a coatings facility there just as we had a decade ago - it wouldn't need to be NADCAP and could free up Virginia for aerospace.

Hi unvrkw, While I recognised interest payments dropping I sort of assumed that production wages costs would rise and capex would still be needed to increase quarry production. I hope your figure is closer!

Last year our sales were some 1.2 Mill and losses of around 3.5 Mill. So we need to do some 5/6 Mill revenue to break even. If we achieve that in our next full year then that would do me. The situation now is so much better than say 2 years ago.

I think in those days a request for a quote was counted as an order! But now everything is in place for sustained growth. Onwards and upwards!

For me the icing on the cake is in the form of increasing recurring revenues as highlighted by rivaldo - onwards and upwards folks.

The MK is 12 times last years revenue. This is high for a company reporting it's first profit last year. Add in the fact that the sp has quadrupled in the last 2 years and there may not be to much headroom.

However the way the companies being currently run gives good chances of meaningful future divi's which in themselves are good and will support a higher sp.

Joining ADS can't do any harm I suppose. But we should be in a positive position and if the new reactor could be announced as being installed/commissioned/NADCAP recognised then there will be an ability to increase revenue next year

This could be an opportunity to release an update as I'm rather hoping we are working close to maximum capacity
for this year anyway.

This acquisition is good news. We've moved 3.5 Mill from cash, which does nothing really, into revenue and a profit - pity it took so long!

Good spread of international business that appears to complement existing business and with new customers that will provide new sales opportunity's. There also seemed to be some sort of product development business hinted at.

And just think - we can afford to do this 8/9 more times! Ye-Har!

Hi Nosugar, Looks as if your prediction of 1p is getting closer! However the Sept update showed record revenues and increased business re the 2 framework agreements and although at lower margins will increase cash flow which will be needed for new reactors which only take 12 months to produce!!

Add in the 2 aerospace research grants over the next 18 months and we're only 2/3 years away from being richish! Now where have I heard that before I wonder?

Most of the indirect taxes mentioned have been around for the majority of the last century and even longer. The newer ones such as The insurance Levy, Air passenger duty and landfill tax were introduced by the Tories but the climate change tax was by labour.

So if your correct about "Dozens of Tory Stealth taxes" then you need at least 22 more!!! I'm waiting!!

incidentally as regards overall taxation and government spending all Labour governments since the 2nd World war have increased both. All past Tory governments since than have reduced both.

Hi Max, The links you refer too are pretty much the normal course of business. They are good bits of business and have meant that the record revenue of the last 2nd half has been largely carried over to this years 1st half and we should be good for 30 Mill of revenue but perhaps only breaking even.

If we had spent the 20 Mill on acquisitions then the chance of a profit should have been increased as per the aim of the announcement. The SP has in my view suffered. The current MK of 50 mill is only the equivalent of one years revenue plus cash in the bank. For me this is extremely frustrating particularly as we seem to have record orderbooks.
