I always think that the longer a company delays the results the worse they will be so I can understand exiledin's decision to sell. But the revenue is rising year by year and we have made some potentially important acquisitions recently - it can't be all bad - can it?! Unfortunately I guess it could be but we are far better placed now than say this time a year or two ago.

I don't wish any thing detrimental to exiledin but I do hope he's wrong!

Hi mcco, I think you'll find that it's not just the shareholders who the auditors work for - It's more to do with regulations but you're right we should be concerned. It's difficult to see what we can do about it except raise questions at the AGM.

The fact there are two sets of auditors give rise to my Table Tennis analogy.

Whacks of previous disappeared investment - by saying this is a punt I'm flying in the face of history! But I am positive - honest!

Have I got this right? Early last March did CG promise to update us about the above as and when they happened?

He's either forgotten or there are none or I'm jumping the gun with my query.

The reason I raise this that in past years we've had notice of sales that didn't really seem to come off so are we now getting no notice of no sales? I'm starting to get a little nervous!

Hi JL, I think you've made the right call. The last 5 years or so have seen a quadrupling of the SP. 8% is a pause for growth.

My view is that whatever my enjoyment in the SP has been in the past the future is in both SP gains and, more importantly in the company development, dividend increases.

The way this company is currently run both will happen. The dividend has massive potential to grow, not only because of it's miniscule base, but from the cash generative re-occurring revenue increases coming on down the turnpike!

If the question is asked the BoD will point to the recent changes anyway. Regarding the auditors issue this could be a forever "table tennis" situation.

Future trading is all and we still have that plus cash in hand. I think recovery is on the cards.

Hi jsmith, maybe they were Sells but then again they may be Buys. My, much smaller, trades have often been misquoted.

The decision as to whether a trade is recorded as a buy or sell is a judgement call! What it is based on, and how the judgement is decided, I have no idea.

Hi Shootiii, previous comments have been well earned! But since the settlement last year with Illumini and since this months takeover of Elucigene this is now a different beast. I have done a top-up this month. It is a punt but a slightly better one than say a year ago.

Getting quite head scratching. Our customer is a maintenance company who is presumably paid by an airline. They are actually replacing original airbus components with Hardide coated parts which will cost more, this seems quite bizarre on the face of it. They presumably have a long term service contract and won't have to make so many future changes?

I thought it would be Airbus who would be our first customer but it looks as if the replacement market is where we are. Actually we are probably better able to service this market at the moment as we probably can't service airbus's requirements anyway.

One word of caution - and perhaps the reason for the lack of market reaction is that this yet another testing phase - dearie me - how long can this go on???

With 11 additional aircraft this year not only are we guaranteed record revenues this year but next year will see the full benefit. Now we're getting an interim divi this is probably my most solid holding.

As Max has said on Wednesday we are approaching 30 Mill of contracts in the 1st half of the year. Our momentum is growing so no reason to doubt we cant repeat that in the 2nd half. Add in the contract value that Sapienza will have and 70 mill is plausible for the year.

Providing we can dovetail the 2 companies efficiently, and I'm guessing there will be some duplication, then the extra revenue from Sapienza will be markedly an improvement with potential bottom line growth. I think an excellent acquisition.

Please TPG spend the rest of the cash in a market pleasing way now - pay a token Divi as soon as you like and lets see the SP double in the next 12 months. I'm dreaming on I know but - Hey Spurs in the Europe League final - All is possible!!

There is currently an intention to order 3 new reactors. The 1st is to go to the new site and start the migration from the old one. The 2nd is to be larger to specifically, but not exclusively, coat turbine blades and the 3rd to be mainly R & D/testing. So 5 production reactors at Bicester and 3 at Virginia. Each Reactor is apparently capable of about £1 Mill per year revenue. However as the 3 current reactors at Bicester are only operated at some 75% because of R & D requirements it means the remaining 5 production reactors (come Sept 2020) will perhaps be able to generate a little more than that. Say £8/9 Mill with the 3 at Virginia.

Bearing in mind the lead time what would be really encouraging is further reactor orders before the current 3 are actually commissioned

Just done another £2k at best tomorrow. The last quarterly webcast caused a small sp rise, the new webcast will be just as positive. The potential that SRT has in the VSP is worth a bit of a punt.

I see we're trying to get to 1.5p (in old money) I used to dream of 2p! I think we're in a bit of limbo here. Airbus must be doing a bit of head scratching. We just don't have the production capacity to be able to accommodate the amount of coatings they could need.

It takes about a year to order and commission a reactor. Apparently each reactor can generate around a Mill of revenue a year. The new Bicester site will hopefully accommodate 6/7 production reactors and Virginia say 8/9?

So with the new site in September 20 we will probably take a further 2/3 years to maximise the facilities. If we multiple order reactors we could also maximise the Virginia site in the same time scale. Say 15 reactors = £15 Mill annual revenue. But each reactor possibly costs about 3/4 Mill so where do we get the money? (Eh stump up lad!)

This must be a concern for the giant businesses we are now talking to. How do we process their requirements? Mind you it could be a nice problem to solve!!

There was an aside on one of the announcements (I forget which) about becoming an attractive take-over target.

Hi ABLE. I have to say that I sincerely hope that you are a little wrong. Your first sentence says that the company has to be aiming to be a multi bagger. I really hope not.

I wish the company to be an efficient market leader in aerospace and defense and I will be happy if the SP doubles
in the next year or so. Providing the rest of the Acquisition pot is spent well then when a token dividend is paid the steady SP progression should be assured and greatly assist my retirement!.

I also think interims will be very close EBITA positive. The recent announcement said that by Sept 20 we will have 8 reactors plus a dedicated R & D/testing reactor in our new premises..

You won't get an installment update on the reactors until they are built. This is long term stuff. I've said it before chicken and egg! We currently have limited production capacity and a long lead time to increase it!

I repeat what I've said in previous posts - this is a slow burner. However once the aerospace hurdles are over come our unique coating will insure continuous business for ever. Well at least the next 20 years or so!
