On the basis of no share trades and no RNS 0.5P rise in the SP is a bit of a mystery particularly as the spread at less than 4% is unusual for us. Anybody know anything?

Yes the SP didn't move at all which surprised me a little.

As an aside if my surname was Luckett I wouldn't have given a child a middle name starting with F!!

Well Goggins - You may not have sold. But you still complain. So what is good about this company? Why are you here?

My challenge is for you to state the best three things you can think of about this company. If you can't nominate three positive, perhaps financially, beneficial things then offski.

Hi Jurado - I also think the recent rise is in anticipation of a new contract but unless it's a small one I would expect a further muted rise. 2/3 years ago when we announced the, since cancelled, 77 Mil contract the shares hit around the 50p mark.

The current contract is with the Philippines as was the cancelled one and there are apparently further elements to come so you would think they would come at the end of the present one maybe. if so then any further contract will be as well as and we would effectively have at least 2 on the go.

Hope I'm not just wishful thinking!!

Hi Dinoken - Your comments re your Portsmouth pal and the shrinking of our armed forces may be a little out of date. We do in fact deal with other countries any way but the recent Persian Gulf / Straights of Hurmuz tanker incidents will not reduce our naval budget and if the MoD can bring forward the vision of building surface ships to a pattern that can be sold to foreign governments then, at the least, things will stay as they are.

The UK submarine building programme is considered state of the art and the contract to supply the 12 Australian built subs air systems, although by a French company (Navel Group?) in S Australia shows that this side of things is pretty positive.

However we have made a recent investment in AI in France and our contract with the Army should therefore stand a good chance of being extended.

We are a 3rd tier company but we do seem to be doing all the right things to move up the food chain. As you say lets get the funds raised 2 years ago spent wisely - do a token Divi and the MC will double. If we were the subject of a hostile takeover I would expect the MC to treble. We are on the cuspof something! Just don't know what!!

Hi Toprise, yes I've checked the director buys and you make a good point. I really believe that Rees has the drive and ambition to bring this company from a start-up to a successful commercial company. A year or two ago I thought if we made it would be at least 4/5 years to turn a profit. We could do it in 2 now.

Generally speaking a weak £ helps because we don't import anything. However we do have UK sales that would not be effected. We make sales in over 30 countries. Some of which may share a common currency, EU for instance, so it's difficult to know how many different currencies we deal in. Those currencies will of course also have fluctuations. So perhaps a 50/60% advantage?

We're due an ST webcast in the next week or two. In the last one he said "I'll let the numbers do the talking". Unfortunately there's been no numbers! We may of course get a new contact before the webcast and he did say that the 6 contracts in the VSP were 3 to 12 months away.

However the recent gentle SP rise and of course the new experienced non-exec leads one to think somethings going to happen - this company has massive potential, it's just a question of when?

A week ago I'd lost half my holding. This morning it's only a third loss - I'm feeling quite cheerful! Gosh aren't AIM start-ups fun!

On a more serious note lets hope there is a comprise on the way - once we get sales going properly an extra few quid to resolve the issue won't really matter to us.

Hi unvkw, I hope your right and the new lows are the new lows and the recent increase is a considered reaction rather than a flash in the pan. The Kosovo government, you would think, would want Fox to grow.

Hi TELCmm, What your hoping for then is that TPG share price rises more slowly than Tullow. TPG has broken into profit with a forward contracted order book stretching over some years. The total value was more than a years revenue and there is something like £8/10 Mill cash in the bank. Add in the low MC and I think I know where my bet would be. Best of luck anyway.

Hi Dinoken - some good questions.

1. Can't see us involved as It's way out of our league but if it does go ahead then there may be a scrap or two, but some time away I think.

2. With our low MC I believe we are very vulnerable here. This may be why our last trading statement was so underwhelming!

3. While the low £ is a disadvantage and makes it expensive to buy in theory it should enhance any profit and in the long term it pays off. Trouble is if the £ recovers in the next couple of years or so then we lose that advantage. However we do seem quite good a partnering overseas businesses so we shouldn't be to disadvantaged.

The 60k sale was dated for Thursday afternoon and there was a v small sale at a similar price. However it's not had any effect but at least the activity is creeping up. There might be an RNS due or perhaps It's just the realisation that we are on the verge of having extra production capacity with possible orders to utilise it!

I too didn't think it would take this long to get going (11p a pop in 2006! I daren't multiply that by 40! ) but once it does then the sky could be the limit. I'm dreaming on and on and on!

Hi Natdan, yes seems to have a wealth of experience as well. I hope he's not doing a Luke Johnson and spreading himself to thinly!

So far in my book Rees is doing OK - I'd rather be in this position than go back 18 months!!! Providing it's all good news when they come I'll put up with less RNS's. As I've touched on before the product mix is now totally changed as is the respective sales channels. I reckon it will be another 6 months or so to fully merge the acquisition.

Hi Sorcerer, you're quite right about the SP at 11p. Lazy grammar on my part the £1.50 refers to the cost to me as I lost a fair old bit on Vialogy!!

Excellent post and I agree about the lack of updates but to be honest I'm not to bothered about Yourgene sales as I think we seem to be making good progress anyway - or at least we were last year! Income from over 30 countries seems pretty good to me.

My real interest is Delta as they seemed to have a lot of products (36?) but not a lot of sales. to me this could be game changing. I don't want Yourgene to take their eye of the ball but that's a lot of products to feed into our sales network anyway and we should be able to use some of their sales network as well. Interesting times ahead methinks!

Hi ragnarl, yes a few companies have come unstuck in the states (mighty Tesco and Freshfields spring to mind)!

However this seem totally different in that it's described as a partnership and citi is pretty widely spread. Even if the margin is low, and Equals don't seem to sell themselves low, the amount of business could be huge. I'm wondering if during the early discussions the name change came up. I wouldn't be surprised!

I've been here since Vialogy in 2008. If memory serves the shares in NIPT following the conversion from VIA to NIPT were over £1.50. Since then I've averaged down several times and following the recent rise I'm now some 30% in profit. And I believe on the start of real growth at last!!

So yes patience is needed. However we are definitely in the best position I can remember in the last 11 years or so. Coggins, I'm guessing, is a fairly new investor. I for one wish he'd just stop his incessant moaning as the only thing it does is depress/annoy people. If the company is so crap why is he here?
