Hi stew. Perhaps it a re-release as the Broker uses the sp of 7.5 at the end of the article and the interviewer asks Southern about the "recently released half-year figures " which actually came out some 4 months ago in September. Should still be good full year figures though.

Yes an upbeat article but judging by the SP of 7.5 it's some 3/4 months old and even with todays drop we're above that now. Looking forward to the years update.

A little patience maybe. Last years positive and upbeat trading statement and had no real substance and it did nothing for the SP. I'm happy to wait a week or two or three to get something that has a little meat on the bone. It should be good anyway.

Hi P3T3R, I think17 Mill is pretty certain for this year. However 21 Mill for next year is I think to low. The US operation will have some 8 months under its belt by year end and could be a real asset next year. The new IONA test will have some 11/12 months input too. Add in the new products so far this year with perhaps more to come plus new ones next year and I would have thought a 50% uplift next year will be pretty hard to avoid. Could even get up to 30 Mill! One of our strengths is the fairly stable cost of running the company and margins should improve with turnover. Gosh it just gets better!

I've been thinking about the move to new premises. The new layout will be optimised for production instead of the current situation with bits added on as and when. The pre-treatment lines will be new and more efficient and the 3 old reactors will be upgraded. One of the 2 new reactors will be larger and able to process items up to 1.5 Mtrs long rather than the 1 Mtr as at present. I reckon that we will in effect double our production capacity at Bicester. Add in the 1/3 increase in Virginia and there's a real growth prospect.

While the above will give new and potential customers confidence it also raises the desirability of us as a take-over target. At some £30 Mill current valuation what price would one of the large coating companies pay to own us? Add in the aerospace companies and the turbine potential and the sky may well be the limit. I'm dreaming on and loving it!!

The IONA test is going to be a real money spinner for the next financial year and will give us a lot of publicity - good times ahead methinks!

I'm with you Bear although there could hopefully be a hefty premium. I have 9 other holdings all on the AIM so this was my star holding! I'm unsure about British based though as the company is in Singapore and the BoD and senior management are largely Aussies.

Hi Jfall, Interesting post. In my view It's not complicated. If you peruse the TPG website you will see the current range of activities. If you read the RNS's and also the end year presentation on the 4th of October '19 you should have good information re the current situation.

Future aspirations? Ask the company - you won't get a meaningful answer but the recent past is a clue with both organic and acquisition growth important. However you mention a profit this year which could be the key. If so then the only other way the TPG BoD can promote the company is via a dividend. There is no other way. Hope we make it!!

Hi ABLE, Your 1st sentence is spot on and so is the 2nd. Trump and Iran can only assist us. As I've said before under 10p this is a buy. The reason I'm not buying is that this is my 3rd largest holding anyway. I await the Divi's. !!

Surely prices don't rise in the face of massive sales? - any body know why ?

I would say that 9 to 10p is a fair price right now. However last mid January there was a trading update which while very positive failed to have any SP impact. Maybe the due update will have a better effect. I'm confident that this year will see a solid profit and should pave the way to a dividend based on this current year end figures. That being so then upwards towards 15p would be a more realistic end of this year price.

I have said before that a profit and dividend is the only thing missing to raise the SP. Ever hopeful!!

Hi Little, caution can be a good thing or act as a brake. 1st Half revenue was up 97%. Full years revenue should more than double last years. New IONA test will roll out at the start of our financial year to provide a major boost for next year. The US company will have some 8 months revenue input this year and could provide a major revenue stream next year. Products now number over 30 with more on the way - this is more than "apparent progress" this is actual progress!

PS if you think we sell in 32 countries you need to revisit your research!

Hi Bear, excellent post I too have been here since Corac, over 6 years now and in the last 2/3 years we have moved a world away. While the extension was perhaps on the cards at the purchase of Sapienza, I for one new nothing so it's good news.

New customers are of great importance and the RNS's of September and October shows we are getting them. Normally contract extensions are good news because the revenue and profit stream continue to roll on. Importantly the effort and resources to achieve an extension is a lot less than gaining a new customer or contract. There is no point in gaining a customer only to lose them!

Your point about profits is spot on and surely 2019 will deliver. I truly believe that if we deliver a reasonable profit this year the stage will be set for solid growth and possible dividends on 2020 earnings. Perhaps then the SP will have no choice but to grow! Cheers

Hi ABLE. Caution is a good thing but bearing in mind the 1st half revenue ( up 63% to 26 Mill) the current MC will still be less than our full year revenue. Take out the 9 Mill in cash and the MC is still less than 45 Mill. My guess is that any purchase under 10p will show a profit in the next year or so.

If the SP doubled we would still be undervalued considering our forward contracted order book with governments and blue chip companies. Once we break into profit ( which should be the 2019 year and is possibly currently effecting the SP?) there's nothing to stop a dividend possibly on this years earnings. This will be the last piece of the jigsaw. I can't see a downside - It's when not if.

Thanks for the link twix. It's certainly going to be an interesting Monday morning! Our current MC is 9 times last years revenue and the SP has doubled in the last year. It's difficult to work out how much of that has future success built in. However the potential here is enormous and £17 Mill for the year is quite possible. There's not that many companies that can double their revenue in a year but with future products and processes to come in the early part of our next year plus new foreign markets to exploit I think we could do it again. In particular I would love to see the USA revenue as a stand alone figure as I'm sure it will be a future mega earner.

Hi Dinoken, Dividend payments could be made from profits, and I reiterate - only a token. Can anybody think of any other way to promote this stock? It is way undervalued.

Hi Dinoken, It's puzzling. This years revenue should be 2.5 times '16s and double '17s and we will be in profit for the second year. With a forward order book to die for and an excellent BoD we should have a market cap double the current one which is less than our revenue plus of course there's 9 Mill in the bank. I've said before - Declare a divi, even if it's a token one - there's nothing else left to do!

Hi unvrkw, I'm impressed with your eternal optimism. I sold in July and August because of the quarry dispute which seemed a big problem at the time. I dipped into the chat room occasionally and just before Christmas I wondered why you were so upbeat and I did a little research. The BoD is far stronger and the factory is doing double shifts with 3rd party customers.

I have to say I think you have a point and spent 2K at 11.44 and blow me if 2 buy trades of a Million shares followed at 13.03.
There is also the possibility of as legal settlement. One of my reasons for my original purchases was the Stone Alliance potential which may have gone back a bit but is possibly still on the cards?
