I did not know that PYC are useless at news releases. I think that it would be difficult for you to give an example of a missed news release because, in fact, as soon as something substantial comes up they release an RNS.

I share your frustration re Buy/Sell reporting. Shoddy in this day and age. Until the virulence of Covid-19 is established the current statistics are flawed - not least the lack of data to extrapolate meaningful statistics. On Monday I had a conversation with my dentist who was worried that the statistics coming out from China and S Korea were cause for concern because they had the biggest numbers. I asked why would anybody place credence on those governments? I think nobody knows.

Yes Aberystwyth, as a small company you would think that we would need to be commissioned. I don't know but I think that tumours and viruses are too far apart for the current model to be applicable? Perhaps a new model?

We're sitting on around £10 Mill. If we are going to acquire another company then the Bod's thoughts will possible be turning that way. Bearing in mind we have a range of Government contracts, although we're not fire-proof, we do have a certain safety net.

Hi stew - again thanks for the heads-up. Southon did say last year that we would become cash positive this year. He may well be gone but his prophecy lives on. The only concern I have is that the BoD does not become complacent. providing they are on the ball and push this on then it's gravy all the way!

Yes indeed stew, in fact it caught the last paragraph in yesterdays Market Report in the Times - not often they cover AIM companies.

Hi Chrisatrdg - It's blood on the board all over everywhere today! Many thanks for the heads-up. Interesting report and seems fairly positive. It was illuminating to read about the prostrate cancer drug tool and to get their views on the wider picture. Very reassuring.

Abery - If Phsiomics has a marketing arm as such it will be pretty small. If you look at pages 10 and 11 of the last annual report you will see the things they do re marketing. I can't see what else they can do bearing in mind the fact we are loss making.

Hi Abery. Bearing in mind we only have a small budget and that yesterday you complained that an RNS had been released to early what, exactly, would you propose physiomics actually do?

Exactly right andy, not to expensive but with good future potential. This is another new revenue stream.

Their now appears to be a clear direction - it is not as grandiose as it tried to be but is now much more practical. There may or may not have been a train crash but the track we are now on is straight forward with a decent engine as factory sales in the last quarter outpaced previous quarters.

I think that to equal last years revenue with all the disruption we have had is in itself an achievement. My guess is that the way we are now running will give confidence to both the workforce and customers.

To finish the train analogy: - We are building a platform; Roll on the Rock Island Line!!

I don't think we can get any closer without actually getting it! Well done ST for announcing the webcast. This is still (just) my largest holding and one reason is the straight forwardness of ST.

Even if we miss the 1st payment this year, 60 odd mill over the next 2 years from just one contract will do me!

No Nickel - not crazily overpriced. Perhaps a little optimistic though!

But think on - If the Slingo licensing model achieves it's full potential it could possibly be crazily under-priced!!

It appears we've moved away from a single contract to a series of projects. This is obviously more flexible as individual projects can be stopped, started and extended as they progress or take a different tack.

This is probably better for both parties but would be more difficult to quantify the costings. I think it probably demonstrates a certain confidence from Merck to engage in the longer term.

Thanks for the post ragnarl, the tone of it is similar to the January update - nothing sensational but steady progress on most fronts with a bright future. I'm looking forward to further clarification in the annual accounts and hope we don't have to wait until May as last year!

Hi Oldone, Logan air has already committed to 16 ex Flybe routes albeit with less flights. They've got 2 planes from Avac but will need more - I wonder where they'll get the extra aircraft from?

Hi Roger. Err, well yes - but it was a couple of weeks ago!!

I wonder what was behind the sells. Can't see a problem with less flights/aircraft due to health and environmental reasons as we are only on a test so far and there will be thousands of planes left anyway.
