Thanks bakky and pacman1. A great deal of info although the last few pages were just a little beyond me! Page 16 clarified for me the Novacyt tie up and it seems to be more than just a 'quick fix'. Could be quite a money spinner.

In spite of the recent presentation that the company says (slide 8 bullet point 3) and I quote "Exclusively focused on Cancer" some posters are linking us with Covid-19.

If that statement is a lie what is the benefit of that to PYC? Why are they lying? Surely if we were involved with Covid-19 we would be promoting that?

Thanks pironi for your link. Both Nickel_Investor and DaveT1 have been a little dismissive lately but viewing the interview I've done a small top-up. I wanted to get in before the full year results and update.

In the last 6 years we've lost some 32 Mill and only raised some 3.5 Mill in subscriptions. In spite of this we are cash positive and about to break into profit. It's almost to good to be true! But as it is - I'll except it!!

New partners/contacts seem to be coming on board on a regular basis. We have a leaner BoD and workforce plus a totally digital business in a 'new normal' digital world.

Hi Qd22 - You may be right re the post Covid belt tightening but on the other hand can the countries afford to ignore security and fishing issues? In addition the budgets are not excessive when looked at from a national perspective. As a further point the Arab countries don't appear to have major Covid problems anyway or at least not ones there admitting to! Time will of course tell.

I think their pretty good. Last year it was announced that this year would be cash positive and one pandemic later it looks as if that will happen - not a lot of companies can say that!

In 2018 we made 900K profit and before that the previous 4 years cost a total of £32 Mill in losses. We currently have no debt - what's not to like?

On a more general note I think the O & G market will be dead for the rest of our year. However Aviation should be different. Obviously passenger numbers may never recover but freight should hold up and we are not yet established here so I can only see growth. The turbine business is to far away to effect this year but hopefully, once the new larger reactor is commissioned and larger blades are tested then revenue will be realistic in year 22/23 - it's just a question of getting to that point!

I also noted the reference to South Asia and we did a trade show to South Korea earlier so perhaps something there but again not this year. We've got this far and I think we will make it but I can understand the SP drop. Buying opportunity for the brave perhaps?!

Hi bakky, good summing up. Add in the facts that our cash situation is sound and we are now have a forward focused BoD with a clear capability to add new products coupled with acquisition experience and this is one of the best long term holds I've got. Said it before - I can't see a downside.

Absolutely right guys - I've said before - another record year with new revenue streams from the IONA test, US expansion and the new French operation to mention just a few!

certainly can't do any harm if we approach the government on any of their support schemes. The reference to Leonardo as a customer was interesting as I thought we were till testing? Anybody any info re this?

This will be another record year for me. Growth in the CE marked IONA test, the States, the French distribution business and any Covid-19 slowdown countered by the new ventilator business. Hope I'm not putting the mockers on but I can't see any downside here.

I would love to retain the 30p SP. But I'm prepared for volatility until the end of June or mid July (say 3 months or so) until the contracts activate. However this delay will still provide meaningful milestone payments for the 1st half figures.

The 25p fund raise was perhaps a little cheap but it has ensured our strong cash position - this could be crucial to cement future contracts as customers will know we can deliver. Happy bunny so far!

Lockdown should increase business and give a good start to the year. I think the forecast was for this year to be cash positive so Covid-19 can only help. Every cloud Etc.

There may be a delay. Many companies are a few weeks behind last year as accountancy firms are slower - working from home etc.

The RNS announces a new revenue stream that will be very cheap to instigate as we have the product and maintenance systems anyway. I just wonder if we will declare a token maiden dividend.

We are and have always been a cash generative company and still hold 10 Mill of the July '17 fund raise. In September '16 we did the Capital Reduction that paves the way forward for a dividend declaration. If we hit 4.5 Mill profit (as forecast) then a tenth of a penny divi would cost £779,000. Now that might just get the SP moving upwards! I honestly think that's the only thing holding us back.

The order is some 3/4s of last years interims so is significant providing the margin was not dropped to much! I do feel that we now have a viable concern all fingers, toes and anything else crossed!

Current MC is 117 Mill. so 500 Mil is a multiple of 4.27. Times that by a bid of 18.5 = 79P

Idly passing the time. The above was referred to in the coronavirus update on the 31st. I'm curious - anybody any idea who this could be as the reassurance has been asked by the US Homeland security department. Seems pretty heavy duty to me but no idea what it's about?
