The mid-April presentation gives a lot of information re intentions and strategy but in these uncertain times and the fact that this Covid-19 is new business any figures will be largely guess work anyway. Ask Matt Han**** about predicting the numbers of tests! Not a good thing to do perhaps with the benefit of hindsight.

We have pretty much doubled our previous annual revenue and we have a MC of some 6 times current revenue with no real profits. This demonstrates a certain market confidence. Covid-19 will impact all our markets and possibly has slowed down
our expansion and new Covid-19 business should have a positive effect. A quarterly update would be welcome but what will happen next is even more difficult to predict than it was previously. One thing I will predict is that revenue will increase because of our new diversification.

Not saying I'll turndown 20p but as we're above our 3 year high I'm content to hold at 16/17p and see where our 1st year figures take us, update due soon? As our revenue builds with the past agreements we've signed then I want our SP to do the same. I'm not looking for whizzy here but solid sustainable growth with perhaps an odd substantial take over in the offing!

Hi PM44, Your thoughts may be wrong - why would this board defend TPG? Have to agree though about the RB posts that appear to have little to do with TPG - but hey this is a wide ranging board. Lets keep it open to opinion.

May not need too much cash as in theory, and hopefully, 1.5 Mill cash still to come at year end. Ist half revenue is vital here. If It's good then the 2nd half should be higher still. Exiting times I think.

Natdan made a good point about covid related vaccines. Apparently coronavirus vaccines are pretty hit and miss anyway so even if the Oxford vaccine goes into use there will still be testing needed.

Only history twix if - A) the vaccine is good and- B) a high percentage of the population agree to have it. C) Furthermore 'B' is dependent on an efficient healthcare system which many countries do not have. It's here for the medium long term or at least for YGEN to sell an awful lot of tests.

Anyway Trump supporters will probably stick with bleach!

I've said before we need to show better revenue and profits. Currently our MC is some 12 times our last full years figures. I think the market is confident of our future for the MC to be this high. The RNS, while welcome, is not news really and neither will be any CE approval. What will be news is our full results for '20 and a trading update. We need increasing revenue and profits to sustain any meaningful and sustainable SP rise. I see no reason to doubt this progress.

Yes indeed very interesting!! I confess to not reading it all. I guess, as you say, if it was purchased legitimately then we should be good. But if there were any shenanigans, and it wouldn't be beyond the wit of man to introduce something contentious at the purchase precisely with a view to sidestep the law. It's a Wild West out there.

Yes indeed Sea king, good observation, and as all my 9 companies are on AIM I guess I'm double gambling! Mind you to be fair 1 of 'em does pay a divi! My cunning plan is that as my start-ups like YGEN mature and pay profits and divis I will roll excess profits into Investment Trusts. I'm actually well in profit anyway here - but overall I'm Covid-19 down about 10%. Mind you on the 18th of March I'd lost over half so it's onwards and upwards now!

Even at a bid of 16.5 we've still got a MC of 11/12 times last years revenue which shows some market confidence surely .

There are many IIs and PIs who will not buy into a company with less than a MC of £100 Mill. Similarly there are others, or perhaps the same , who will only invest in a divi paying company. We can't do much about the 1st situation except let nature take it's course, but we can influence the 2nd situation with a positive step from the BoD - even if it's only re intentions of future divis. In our case it could be seen as a form of advertising anyway and it will open us up to potential new investors .

Hi, JAdam, There's a lot of info in the April 28 page investors presentation which seem to cover some of your queries. Fair point P3T3R - but at the end of the day it does look good. As a bonus you've answered one of JAdam's queries!

Hi Florida, Just re-read your post of Sunday. Not to sure what some posters want here. In the last 2 years our half years revenues have surpassed the previous full years. In the midst of a pandemic I expect this will happen again. How many other companies are there that can do that?

Whizz Bang - try the bookies. Solid growth over the last 2/3 years with more to come - load up at these prices. I've topped up a couple of times this month with the intention of selling the same for a profit in a year or two but the bulk of my holding is for the long term.

We made a 3 Mill profit last year on revenue of less than 9 Mill. Although our cost base will increase it won't be by that much so perhaps an interesting situation of what to do with future profits! Good situation to be in.

Hi dsc1978, I agree: - but for a company that is poor at previous profits we need something else - not just revenue increases but something that also delivers confidence to the market - possibly from the BoD. In the next half year the results will be stellar (Oh yes they will!) - profits will shine and BoD comments on a divi will be crucial. Get the comments right and we will fly.

Hi CooperD, Yes October should be good with a positive trading statement about our September half-year results. Either that or we get good rises in anticipation. Say 4 months at the outside. Not long in the scheme of things.

I'm quite happy with 8p for now. When we get a trading update on the above and then the actual numbers we should really climb. I've had a look at the 1st quarter RNSs and in that time 6 new contracts of various lengths of 1.2 and 2.5 years were announced. The annual average was some £18 Mill. So 4/6 Mill should come through to half year which is some 10% ish of last years revenue. Last half year was 26 mill so I would think 35 Mill would be achievable, possibly towards 40.

I think we've cleared the books of any exceptional costs so a profit is in the offing and with an increased order book we might have a hint of a divi for full year. last years results were in September so it might be later this year but worth waiting for in my book. I intend to hold so not to fussed re fluctuations - mind you I'd be happy with an SP rise anyway but for me a divi is key.

This is the advantage of a many faceted company. A regular new supply of products and services. Possibly helped by the Sapienza acquisition. All we need now is good year end numbers and 12.5p gives a MC of 100 Mill!
