Very pleased to read it (and a little relieved!). We seem to be progressing on several fronts and while ST is ever the optimist there does seem a factual basis for this. The re-activation of the growth plans says it all really. Interesting 4 months to go I reckon!

Looking at the CV of Joanne Mason I'm a little surprised that she didn't join us at board level anyway. However as she's an addition and not a replacement she strengthens the board and provides another positive step.

It would seem that our Clarigen test will be seen as to slow at some point and faster tests will prevail. whether or not we will be involved in faster tests is, for me, a side issue. Yes, if we are that's good but I would prefer our pre-covid-19 business to be the main driver of growth.

Yes indeed Adastra. Unfortunately the sale of Dukinfield has probably came to late in the year to effect figures which will show a loss. I believe the only thing missing is profits. As the song said "What's another year!"

However at long last it does seem as if we have repositioned ourselves with a clearer way forward and we can demonstrate an international reach and sales with several promising projects. The next major announcement for me will be the year end accounts with a trading update on the first quarter of next year. Onwards and upwards (again!).

Good link PM44 - shows the interest in hydrogen. Our ability to produce is just a little less of course! But I have a feeling that the portability of our offering ( EG as demonstrated in the railway project) will be a winner. It should be possible to install a generator and storage facilities in current petrol stations as a further example. Water is not a problem but I think we need 3 phase electricity?

Hi notaflipper, to reiterate Natdan - 2 years ago LR said there was a 3-5 year plan. So you've only got a possible 3 years to go!

Hi Niptsteve, thanks for the link. This is like today RNS and the 4 RNSs last month re various partnerships/collaborations. None of them are particularly immediately important but all will contribute to revenue/profits and hopefully grow. Sort of ties in with LRs 5 year plan! Sorry notaflipper!

Hi TinY-tim, I see the classic distraction method. You don't know how operating losses are calculated even though you chose to use them. You don't want to admit it so distract with other questions.

Promotion is always an uncertainty. We just have to many irons in the fire to report on all the efforts being made and leads that are being explored. General Info has been better recently but specific product info/advertising has to be targeted to valid prospects.

Hi Tiny-tim. You choose to use operating losses to further your view. What exactly are they compared to the losses as on the final accounts as on the fundamental page above?

Hi Tiny-Tim. I didn't know you were referring to operating losses which actually I'm not to sure about but I know that TPG like to use the term. However the overall loss for '19 is similar to the '15 loss but the revenue has pretty much trebled since then which is good and a percentage reduction. The sale of Dukinfield may well wipe that out but perhaps not this year.

Compared to revenue the losses are not a major problem especially if the growth is taken into account and the direction of TPG has been changed as well. Overall good I think.

Hi Tiny-tim, According to the LSE Fundamental page info you are wrong regarding increasing losses over say the last 3/4 years or so. What research gave you that info?

Ongoing testing may supersede the current swab test. Boots has a publicly available 12 minute option with 97% accuracy at £120. Matt Han**** and Prite Patel were treated to a demonstration of dogs ability to recognize Covid 19 on clothing by smell. Many countries are training dogs to do this.

I'm all for Yuen making hay while the sun shines but am more pleased with the long term projections still coming through on new projects. In any case we would be wise to maximise lab capacity.

Just had a very quick scroll through the last 3 years RNSs and did not see any orders/contracts re Dukinfield - I may have missed one as it was quick. But as TPG is good at announcing orders and the main Dukinfield customers are in the O & Gas fields then business must be dropping off. Last years loss of i.7 Mill is the bulk of the 2 Mill loss anyway.

Again looking at the last 2/3 years RNSs we seem to be moving forward in a range of activities far removed from heavy engineering anyway so I think this is a long term positive move and can only help a profit breakthrough.

Indeed a mixed bag. Can't help feeling that some expectations have been blunted - mine have a bit. BUT our year start coincided with lock-down and we still made 5% extra. Not a lot of people can say that. Apparently the Covid headwind has been beaten as October's revenue is climbing. Our core business is back on track and Covid revenue looks to be accelerating.
Looks good to me.

Yes the Align research notes are very positive even allowing for a little bias. I too wonder at how much of the £42 is actual profit - maybe £25? The other point i was thinking about was that it seems extremely accurate and I wonder about international/export opportunities (and no, I don't mean Wales!) Any body any ideas?

The RNS clearly states the second accreditation is for City Labs 1.0. If so what is the FIRST one - or am I being thick!?
