Yes, it's definite progress. I too would settle out of court but would ensure we have enough to fully develop not only all the quarries but also to fund Stone Alliance.. No idea what that figure would be. CG did talk about share buy-backs in his previous presentation: I actually wouldn't say no to some of that either!

Thanks Alocasia, I particularly liked the "suite of marketing tools " due in the 2nd half next year. This kind of thinking shows the foresight and attention to detail the BoD has. I can't think of any real drawbacks to GMR!

Our MC is 8 times the last years revenue which for a loss making company is quite high. I think this MC partially reflects our revenue potential. Any takeover bid would need to look ahead at that potential or perhaps face rival bids. It could get quite exiting!

Personally I would not want a takeover as I would love to see the way this company grows - not like a lot of my other companies!

PS - seattle - any guess on the SP in 18 months time?

Hi mashed, I'm not to sure either. The IPO was valued at $54 Mill with an SP of $8.5 dollars. The SP then rose to $15 dollars. I would have thought the IPO was an addition to the MC?

With only 1 lonely reactor approved at the old site Airbus orders are limited anyway. However provided we pass muster in the spring next years 2nd half should benefit. It looks as if by then other aero space orders will be coming through. I think this 1st quarter is quite low - lets hope it picks up before next years half year results!

There is no other company that has a coating that outperforms HDD coatings. The coating process uses gas and this means that not only complex shapes are uniformly coated but also internal parts can be reached. It is also an extremely well run company. I would recommend reading the last 12/18 months of RNS's with a particular view on the new and ongoing testing programs.

As Jmidland says we have a moat around us. As an example the testing program with Airbus was started in late 2008 and from memory Leonardo testing started around 2013. In addition we now have a vastly improved production capacity with the ability to comparatively quickly build up further production.

The new low temperature coating has opened up a range of further materials we can now coat and the turbine blade testing is going well. EDF even sent the longer blades for testing before we got the new larger reactor operational - now that's keen!
Aero engines also suffer similar water droplet damage as steam turbine blades which is EDF's concern. I suspect the testing program for the two types blades will be over a long period but the steam turbine blade tests have so far been successful and each turbine sure has a lot of blades.

Hi RobR, I have to offer apologies. When you posted about calamity at UK Ports re HDD I overreacted as I knew that our major raw materials were gasses and that we had the money to not only over order but also the space to store the over order. I saw no problem.

The positive situation is now focused on a number of current test programs and new applications being pursued that basically negates both current Covid restrictions but also any long term market drops.

Markets hate the unknown and drop accordingly. Once the EU deal/nodeal is struck HDD will benefit anyway as the EU has little effect on us. If it's a no-deal there will be a small SP drop but some of that is baked in anyway. If we get a deal then the rise could be a bit better but not that excessive as it's now all about the many and varied testing programs coming to fruition and ending in sales. Either way the question is not about will HDD break into profit - but when!

So what do you know precisely about HDD's supply chain?

Hi RobR, You seem not to know what the materials required for the CVD process actually are. They are mainly gasses and largely UK sourced.

There was a month of grace allowed originally when lock-down was first implemented for interim results. I.E. to 4 months of period end.. Haven't seen notice that this temporary measure has been cancelled?

Hi RobR, Your concern re calamity at our ports re HDD is groundless. Our international trade is far to small to use sea or road freight in any quantity that could not successfully be air freighted if required. After re-rereading the results I can see no logical reason why HDD shares will tumble. Reflect - a month ago you could have bought at 25p - as you could have done in Sept/Oct. Mid 30s will be cheap in 12 months time.

Yes indeed - excellent progress in so many fronts. Testing processes in different stages in a wide variety of both customers and applications.

I don't necessarily think we need to go to a full quarterly reporting. We get RNS's on new deals and our cost base is pretty static.
What I would like to see though is quarterly revenue figures. You would think that as more and more sites come on stream the figures would be very encouraging.

Our MC is almost 9 times last years revenue which could be seen as high for a lossmaking company. The last half year revenue was up 66% to 5.2 Mill. If we knew the revenue up to September it would give the market (and us!) a clear indication of our full year and how close we are to profit. Still I suppose patience is a virtue and we are close to an update now anyway. GLA

All of my holdings have been on AIM except one and many have gone bust over the years. Because I buy non-profit non-dividend companies my risk profile is pretty high. I can therefore say I've had worse!

It has indeed gone very quiet which is historically quite usual. However the factory can still be producing cut tile during the
winter and we're supposed to have some sort of third party block processing deal. Litigation funding is the Biggy, our 5 mill MK could easily treble if we get it and would provide perhaps a route to funding to continue operations if needed.

Unfortunately the longer we wait for news the worse it can be when it does come! I certainly haven't given up yet - as I've said before the high quality stone and the low cost base is key for me to believe the business case is sound.

Yes this does appear to be heading for a successful conclusion and with other applications to boot. Potentially good sales next year. Our hydrogen production facilities, particularly the rail project, also seem to be progressing well and again potentially good sales next year. Our established businesses seem to be doing well and so new revenue streams will provide real growth.

There does seem to be a different feel to TPG nowadays. Our historical revenue growth has been very good but with the assist of acquisitions. I now believe that we still get good growth but hopefully with more emphasis on organic growth. If we do actually announce a profit this year then the accompanying update will be really positive. A 10p SP is on the cards.

Hi Danvestment. Thanks for your feed back from Walbrook. Seems pretty factual and one or two posts here are somewhat emotional with opinions that are almost presented as facts. I ask people to look at the facts of our revenue in two year growth cycles.

The facts of our revenue are that at April '16 our revenue was 2.45 Mill. Two years later at April '18 it was two and a half times greater at 6.15 Mill.

In April '17 the revenue was 3.06 Mill and at April '19 it was close to treble at 8.88 Mill

In April '18 it was 6.15 Mill and at April 20 it was well over double at 16.61 Mill.

In April '19 we were at 8.88. If we hit 25 Mill in '21 we will be closer to trebling revenue rather than just doubling it.

This is a constant long term growth of extraordinary success. No flashes in the pan just relentless growth. Oh, and by the way - we've also reduced losses! Why are people complaining?

Hi Jammen, once the revenue streams from the 2020 agreements/partnerships/contracts fully deliver in 2021 the only downside might be to pay off the debt early, and possible delay a dividend, or let it run it's course. Either way it's no big deal.

we're up 10p in the last couple of weeks and if that was repeated we'd be at a 3 year high! Something must be coming on down the turnpike! Anybody any clues?
