Like GarryParry I to have mixed views. If Marine is sold we lose a very complex group of companies and while we've grown both the revenue and the order book we seem unable to generate profits. This is in spite of the long history of some businesses - think 50 years with the RN! I think the company is too diverse for it's size and the acquisitions and projects we have recently made have increased the diversity. The downside of selling is the prospect of losing future growth but as we can't seem to make a profit perhaps that doesn't matter quite so much.

If we revert to a consultancy business then both the BoD and investors have a much clearer picture. Sapienza has produced contracts and sales many times the purchase price and provided the margins are good then it seems a winner. It will also be cash rich with no debt. Could well be a success.

As I've said TPG in it's current form may well be too diverse for it's size which may be why the market does not seem to favor it. I'm sorry in a way to lose the Marine Engineering business and some of the potential it has but it does seem stagnant re profits. As always time will tell.

We've only announced two town square contracts which is hardly booming or paving over Kosovo. the total value is E 1.45 Mill which is only going to be paid if any Covid restrictions allows the installations to continue. The Covid factor probably applies to other contracts as well.

Hi Radius, As we've just sold TPG Engineering and are open to offers on Maritime Engineering I think we've stopped assembling. One or two previous acquisitions such as Westek were clearly engineering based but other such as Polaris and ALS Technologies were more consultancy based so we've been progressing on 2 fronts with no profits for some years now.

If the sale of Maritime engineering happens then at least the consultancy business will be cash rich and might even be profitable. Now there's a thing - TPG and profits in the same sentence!

At the very least a consultancy based business should be better understood by the markets and investors. Only time will tell.

I don't think PYC actually have direct competitors in the Tesco/ASDA sense. What we have is pretty unique and we have been steadily progressing virtual tumor for some years as well as increasing revenue and decreasing losses. All we have to do is keep that going while adding deals like the DoseMeRx one of last month which has massive potential.

The key is of course the development of Virtual Tumor. But as big pharma is now happy to be publicly linked to us then it seems as if we are gaining credibility which is all important. I'm quite happy to see steady revenue and SP growth because our cost base will not need to rise to much as we increase revenue.

Well yes. My only criticism of CG is his tendency to gild the lily - he mentioned paving Kosovo over but we've only announced to town square contracts. There is another contract for CC Apartments. It's now in the hands of the weather and Covid. But as he rightly says we are now a much more rounded company.

As regards the compensation claim, Dentons will be keen to recover their costs plus the multiples that the backers have put up. Lets hope they can add on a good bit for us as well. The good news is that we are not liable for any costs.

If we do sell engineering then it may be that at long last we have a clearer picture of what TPG actually does. I remember the discussions about this when we did the July '17 fund raise and then sat on the money for a couple of years or so!

We were so diverse considering the size of the company that even the BoD seemed unsure. With the Sapienza acquisition being so fruitful and complemented by the Osprey acquisition we do seem to have established an important new business opportunity. With the cash from any engineering sale in the bank we will be transformed. This is going to be an interesting period and I feel quite optimistic about it.

Yes, this is ready to move into profit. LR said when he joined 3-5 yrs to see shareholder value. This will happen in spite of Covid headwinds. I believe Covid has been a bit of a mixed blessing for us. I'm very impressed by the determination to expand in the States which is where the money lies for our core products. 14p will look cheap in the next couple of years.

Yes, we could probably get a pallet with an oxygen generator on it to Southend University Hospital tomorrow. If we've kept RN Subs going in Oxygen for 50 years then an odd hospital or two or three would be a walk in the park!

I've been here some4/5 years now. The company has made major technical advances in that time. It is well run and very open - look at the last few webcasts to see this. We are a tiddler that is negotiating with governments all around the world - it is almost unprecedented! The rewards will be massive.

I've been here since the old Corac days and I've not known TPG to deliberately hide bad news. I'm actually looking forward to a trading update in 2/3 weeks and will we actually make a profit? Because Dukinfield as only just been sold there will be some financial drag. In my view a profit is needed to get the markets attention. If we could actually float the idea of a token Divi then we will have a clear path to real SP growth! One can but dream!

Not to sure if all versions of the F-35 actually use the parachute - perhaps not the Navel versions? Would love to know what the other parts are that are mentioned are though as this will be a long running production and hopefully money spinner.

To get Hydrogen you spend more energy via electrolysis than you actually gain. Apparently the same applies to high temperature steam cracking. We actually need cheaper energy to start with such as giant wind and solar farms. Until then It's a bit of a niche market - hydrogen trains are a good example. Not yet a profitable money spinner.

Well yes 1.6p does currently seem a bit of a bargain! I was quite surprised at the SP increase. But going back to basics - we still have top quality stone in developed quarries in a low cost environment. Once the winter break ends covid-19 vaccinations should be available. We haven't heard of any covid-19 incidents so far so perhaps the factory is on top of the situation. Block sales usually seem to require the buyer or an agent to visit the quarries. However with a bit of trust it should be possible to virtually do inspections.

Quarrying is a low risk covid-19 activity anyway and the product should be save.

The last few years have seen strong revenue growth. a strong order book growth and some astute acquisitions. Shame about the inability to generate a profit! Because Dukinfield has only just gone there may be a financial over hang but if we can show a profit this year then that's the last bit of the jigsaw!

The pathway should now be clear to profits, dividends and a MC re-rate.

The only downside over the last 4/5 years has been the inability to make a profit. Revenue, order book and acquisitions carried on apace with real growth year after year. We've only just divested Dukinfield so the financial overhang may still be apparent.

If the year end update due in the next month actually shows a profit then all our problems are little ones! However whichever the figures are we have a much clearer path now to both profits and dividends.
