There's no reason why we couldn't have a 6 months update - you'd think it positive. Although I can't see any RNS for last year?
Am I missing something!

This RNS is for a third of both the meterage and value of the 30th July '20 RNS announcement. We apparently have to quarry it so April /May even June delivery? Hopefully any Covid restrictions will not delay instillation.

Yes it may well be partly a confidence booster for customers so perhaps not so much a contingency against poor orders - time will tell.

Now that's what I would like to see. Might be next week (the 11th last year) I would think we may get another SP boost - perhaps not as much as 50% as last month but it could consolidate the SP for now - great times ahead!

I suppose 1 Mill in the bank helps? It also demonstrates the BoD's confidence. The downside for me is that new orders and contracts are as yet a bit away.

Impressed. Up to now there has usually been a delay in the RNS re the deal and actually going live. However we have gone live on this one already - is this a new policy to delay announcements until live I wonder? Or is it a massive speed up of integration?

I can assure you that wind farms in windy Cornwall do not operate 24/7/365. Before the various lockdowns I regularly went past a large one at Garland Cross and a couple of smaller ones. It was not uncommon to see them stationary. It is this unreliability that ensures the coal fired electricity production has a license to October 2025.

Solar energy also has an unreliable production issue - particularly in the Winter! Because of these various variables I view "surplus green energy" as unreliable. Not something to base hydrogen production on if you want consistency.

There are surpluses though and the race is on on as to how to harness it. Pumping water uphill seems pretty simple though and we have the technology!

Hi Adastra, Well yes the company website talks of surplus green energy but the UK still uses thermal coal to produce electricity and the steel industry still uses coking coal to produce it's steel instead of using electricity and it will be doing so for many years to come. Because of this there's even a serious proposal for a new coal mine! At a national level I don't think there can be that much surplus green electricity about. Even if there is it still costs more energy to produce hydrogen than is actually produced by using the hydrogen. Hydrogen will be a future fuel but the question is when.

Be interesting to know how Dentons and the Government are getting on. I suppose one way of offering compensation would be more town square contracts plus the odd railway station and airport. This could be a win win situation for both sides particularly if the margin is good!

One unknow is of course Covid. None of the Balkan countries has started a meaningful vaccine roll out as yet. The factory is running and you would think the quarries could be worked safely. Transportation could be problem though and of course contractors to do the actual work. Another 6/8 weeks or so for the quarries to reopen so time for something to happen.

Well here we are with no new contracts and only 2 months to go to year end. I'm concerned for the revenue figures at year end. I think we get a first milestone payment when we set up the first control room which probably varies from contract to contract. so unless we start a new one soon the milestone will be in next year - I don't think there's any payment on signing? Anybody know?

Hi Team83, You're quite right about a great future and the fundamentals getting in place, however my concern is the race between profits and dividends on the one hand and the cemetery on the other!

I too did a top-up this morning at 34.4 - I just had to bite the 16% spread bullet! I don't expect any fireworks here but now we have increased our reactor capacity and both sites have room to add more as and when they need to then the immediate future is looking good. This is a slow burner in my book.

Hi Adastra Hydrogen is very expensive to produce. Apparently one way is to crack water molecules with steam that has to be at 1000 degrees and the electrolysis process eats electricity. Don't ask me about the figures as I just don't know but the expense of production limits current use.

However your point re 50 years of expertise is a two edged sword - 50 years and no profit! The more I think about it the more I come to the view that if we sold engineering and went with consultancy we might just be profitable?

Hi mqshed, There's usually a bit more to it. First the profits must be sustainable and the company reasonably financially sound and we tick both boxes there. The BoD will want to point to clear future revenue increases. Tick that box!

Once we can show that, and our business model makes that easy, then we can confidently pay a maiden Divi. The real benefit of this is A) the publicity but B) the fact that many PI's and II's will only buy companies that pay a Divi and so we automatically hugely increase our investor attractiveness. Mind you some of that could have already been factored into the SP but we should double our revenue this year and do the same the next so add in a potential Takeover and could the sky be the limit?

Hi Dibs, Well so far a partial success at least. I first bought in '06 at 11p a pop and of course since then there's been a 40 for 1 consolidation so I need £4.40p for that particular deal to break even! Having got that of my chest I am currently breaking even anyway by averaging down.

You are correct though - once we get Airbus approval we will be able to increase production for their products and you would think that during this year other testing programs will bear fruit (Are you listening Leonardo?!)

The biggie for me is the turbine blade testing. This will take time as it appears that with the superior HDD coating it will be possible to tweak the blade design to make them more efficient. Lots and lots of blades in a steam turbine! Apparently there are also water damage benefits to aero engine blades as well! This could run and run.

As a plus point this one of the best managed company's in my now limited portfolio after weeding out the duffers.

Hi Doog58. I too like to buy and hold but will follow the ups and downs a bit as well. Pyc is a good example I first bought in '16 and sold a few in November '17 on the then spike. I've traded a little since including selling some at 16p last July and buying back at 9p. The upshot is that my holding of some £17 K has cost me around £2.5 K. Can't say I've always been that successful mind - I've made some real howlers in the past !! But none of my trades were big ones so I minimised any downside.

However it now looks as if we are on a clear path to increasing revenue, profits and an increasing range of clients - think It's hold from now on but I might be tempted to take out my original stake in the future! Cheers.

Anybody who thinks Claire Nuttall's article implies a general takeover bid should clarify that with her. Please read the relevant RNS's that I have previously highlighted. Both Green power and Scope reneged on their agreement. There was no takeover attempt to takeover Fox. They were in fact trying to illegally take back ONE quarry. This is a totally different situation from a general takeover.

Hi Sampman and Earl. The dispute is over the Malesheva quarry. For background look at the relevant RNS's in 2019. April for the first announcement and then July and September. There is also information on the Website re this and the winter shutdown.

There is no current news on any takeover of any sort. The first mention of this on this BB was in fact from Earl. I suggest a bit of research on the website and the RNS's. Of course there may be a T/O being prepared but then again there may not be!
