Hi perky, I have asked NotMutch in sales twice, politely, for his comments but he has not bothered. Thanks for your input. However it seems to me that the .5 Mill was more a donation and the 1.05 Mill was an equity raise that will cause dilution. A minor point I grant you but it was the use of an unknown, to me, acronym with 2 separate transactions joined together that threw me. Thanks again.

Yes RobR, a little mixed but not much in my view. You are of course correct re the A380 but that may improve as passenger travel increases but the A380 is not in favor at the moment. In any case we are not a one-trick-pony as regards Airbus. Page 10 of the report says we are approved on wing parts for the A320 and A321XLR and at various stages on parts for the A320, A321, A321XLR, A330, A400 and the future wing product. Regular production orders for coating parts on the A330 and A320 are expected in H2. This is of course after airbus approval of the new premises.

The old Wedgwood sight just couldn't cope. You may be right re 5 years for dividends but profit next year, September '21 on, is a real possibility.

Yes GliUlivi, A very good read indeed. One also gets a flavour of the companies attitude to growth and expansion. I've said this before, it is a slow burner, no whizz bang fireworks here. But one has to consider that as a unique offering with now proven results in various sectors it's just time to get the sales up. With a high margin and largely fixed costs we are capable of profits with a relatively small growth in sales. The long term future could be really solid.
PS. Boy done good at 28p - I've just paid 29.75 - the early bird gets the worm!
PPS. I wonder if Ritchie has had a read!

Thanks oldtrmp - Interesting post. Not to sure how far up the food chain we are - we seem to be in a lowish supporting role but depending on the contract size we could do quite well.

Depending on the size of the reactor ordered I think it is one or two. The new site s double the old one at 20,000 Square feet but more efficiently laid out. so five or six production reactors plus one for R & D and testing.

Hi NotMuch, My query arose because I knew not what AFAIK meant and I thought it may be another company because Fox itself only raised half a Mill. What is your explanation of the the 1.5 Mill that was raised as stated in your post today. I ask because this is in fact treble the amount stated by Fox in the relevant RNS.

Hi dactions - quite right 1.435 Mt is the worlds most common gauge. This includes the UK and most of Europe - just so we know!

I think stupid is a bit harsh! HDD was in an awkward position. Factors to consider. The old sight with 3 reactors was cramped and not well laid out and only had 2 and a bit commercial reactors as 1 had to be used for R & D plus customer testing. So with only 2 reactors just how much business was Airbus going to actually give us? And even if they did what about our other customers?

Consider that from deciding to order a new reactor to getting it on site and fully commissioned takes some 12 months and the old site had no where to house one anyway! HDD then had to factor in the Airbus '"deign to approval factor" To be safe allow a year? So to be certain HDD had to make future plans some 18/24 months before execution. I think they did superbly - to put it in modern terms - definitely not "Track and Trace" but just like Vaccine Roll- Out!

Kirkham has estimated that broadly each reactor can generate about £1 Mill annual revenue. It's probably a bit more now as the new reactors are upgraded version. The old ones where upgraded during the move. Add in the very important advantage of the new larger reactor. This is the one that I think is the dedicated testing one and we are now testing for larger turbine blades and possibly landing gear components - impossible before.

When the litigation funding was announced the timing was some 12-18 months for a Tribunal. An out-of-Court settlement could be later this year. Personally I would be quite happy with an out-of-court settlement that included some decent Government contracts and enough cash to clear the litigation costs, clear our debts, give enough cash to buy new equipment for the quarries and factory and provide enough cash to establish a cash reserve and pay a dividend. If that could be agreed by say August then everyone's a winner baby!

Bit disheartening - we seem so close with new premises new plant and capacity. Airbus are supposed to approve the new site in the spring. so we could be 6 weeks away from that and some 2/3 months or so from 1st half trading update (mind you that could be called spring as well!) Surely the approval will boost both customers and the SP?

In a webcast a few years ago ST was asked who our competitors were. He declined to reply on the grounds of not giving them publicity. However he did say that the companies that had an offering were large companies in areas like defense and security. He pointed out that they had a broad product range and that Maritime Domain was a part of that and as such was less sophisticated. These companies treated MD as an 'as well as' and did not really market it as a stand alone system. It was almost a further offering.

SRT on the other hand is a unique specialist who do one thing and constantly evaluate their markets and constantly upgrade their products and as a result we can be case specific and concentrate on just that. I do like the bit about a constant revenue stream from satellite data though.

Hi Radius, I too think its gauge related. The Alstom train has the hydrogen kit on the roof but in the UK It's going under the floor which is trickier. I read that we have a narrower gauge so the weight had to be low down for stability reasons. Possibly tunnel restrictions also? However if we can crack the underfloor installation you would think it would have a wider potential.

Hi NotMuchinSales, You have a valid point re previous sales efforts, I never got my head around the London show rooms for instance - nor the location or the view by appointment. I sold out in March '19. The Kosovo wild west was one reason and I made a loss of some £1600 on a toe-in-the water 5K.

I recently started buying back January '20 for three reasons. 1 political stability as evidenced by Sundays elections. 2 The transformation of fox in the last 2 years EG a showroom in Kosovo. Fancy showing block customers the finished article - who'd have thought it! And last but not least the Litigation.

I've gambled some 10K and the high spread is a disadvantage. I am currently losing £90 on the 'This is money' portfolio on the Bid price but £350 profit on IWEB on the share price. So far so good and I'm looking forward.

Trader, I think you do ST an injustice. ST makes some 4 webcasts every year. He has never, in my book , ever made an 'announcement' to deliberately inflate the SP. In fact if you re-visit the webcast you will see that he says that commercial confidentiality is extremely important to our clients. All he can do is generalise.

However his open, although guarded, approach is positive and the SP sometimes reflects this. I can't think of any poor management decisions or problems of their own making in the 5 years I've been here and it is in fact my largest holding. One reason is the openness shown by SRT.

It reads as if we are just storing it and releasing it to produce electricity - nothing about producing it initially.

Re Sundays election. The new coalition increased it's majority. They are anti war-lord and were elected on a promise to reduce unemployment and justice reform (nothing to do with the Fox case mind) However Fox is well placed to increase jobs in both quarrying and factory production. I've posted before that more town square projects could be cost effective in creating jobs and we could also do railway stations and the main airport next to the factory. It could even be part of an out of court settlement - new brooms and all that. At a good margin of course!

Exactly right brainspark. Fox is a gamble but a much better one than say 18 months ago. The only unknown is the covid-19 situation. If block sales can be achieved then with the greatly improved factory the way ahead should be clear.
