RE: Net buys for the day19 Mar 2019 11:50
Vistaman,
I was always approaching this with a negative twist, that helped me counter the positive twaddle posted elsewhere, I still made my 'negative' observations when I held a substantial amount of shares (when I was allowed to).
I take your point on NAVs but you must also see that the costs of the companies aren't going away and that TERN will have to keep funding them throughout this year. The only one doing very well is inVMA, but that is more to do with their PTC licence than anything else, I suspect.
You ask me not to use NAV as a metric but the Company seem to want to do so at every opportunity,
"This includes our first investment in an IoT data analytics company, FundamentalVR, combined with several reinvestments into our existing portfolio resulting in a growth in our hard net asset value
("NAV") to GBP16.8 million, up 58% from GBP10.6 million in 2017. This fits with our strategy to deliver NAV growth for shareholders. "
What they didn't say in that sentence, is that long term shareholders didn't see that growth they saw a reduction per share of NAV due to the dilution caused to fund it.
