I don’t think aquis helps but this will run due to the lack of anything similar available to uk investors to stick in an isa and get tax free exposure to crypto
NAV at £205m this morning and only taking seed investments at initial value. Also staking revenues not factored in, which should exceed £12m per annum now
Most of the PF has come from seed investments….for example the latest addition TIA came from a 75k investment and now worth £78m. Same with DOT and LIDO these guys know how to pick the best projects
Should be a great day tomorrow if BTC holds. XLM and XRP dragging market up. Lido biggest of our holdings today
You back in Duke ? Not seen you on for a while
Totally agree at these levels the PE is barely above 2 ! Just need to extend the buyback and clarify dividend policy going forward
Cointracker on the telegram group I reference is £109m, as upto date as I’ve come across. Obviously doesn’t account for monthly change in staking revenues and the seed investments. Hence why it’s great we are finally getting transparency in a monthly update.
Totally agree Duke, when things start moving again the market will see monthly what the projects are worth. Just need to get off aquis now to increase liquidity
You back in again Duke ? Think your coin tracker is $ not £, still impressive though. My coin tracker is £125m this morning but you could easily add another £25m for the seed investments. Just wish G&K were more transparent on what they are actually say each quarter so the market could properly value.
Going to see loads more similar announcements as we head towards Q4 this year as a lot of the staking from the para chain comes up.
They don’t give updates very often but when they do it’s well worth the wait. Shame they don’t give us a quarterly update on assets rather than us having to guess. Just wonder how many seed investments are in the pipeline
At the minute the best picks seem to free of contagion, I own kr1 but have also bought dot and atom as think they are sound projects.
Did the article say if he had any holding ?
Trouble is the existing BOD have done such an awful job it’s not hard to see why a change is attractive even though it has inherent risks. They have some decent assets they just need to churn some of them and return some value to shareholders.
Have to be honest massive positive for me any director buying especially off the open market. De risk for me for the chance of a dilution via a raise and any bad news on the horizon.
I guess as most LTHs have relatively small pots thanks to the current BOD it’s not that much of a risk going with someone new. I think they are now panicking as the gravy train may be coming to an end. I think it’s a simple question are you happy with the performance over the last few of the current BOD ?
Let’s be honest they are the only guys to have made money out of RBD, think they have proved they have no regard for shareholders, I want a BOD who have proper skin in the game and don’t have a ridiculous remuneration package that rewards no performance. I’d like to see WN flipped and not for peanuts
I just voted in favour…the current BOD have done bugger all in the 3 years I have held. I bought primarily because of WN as was already in UJO. My average is horrible for RBD but in profit with UJO over multiple purchase for the last 3 years. Don’t know much about the new guys but in reality can’t be much worse than current set up.
Think you need to understand the underlying assets they have invested in…everyone will have a different take on each project but this gives you exposure to some of the best in a fund without all the hassle of buying on an platform and tax free if in an isa or sipp
I’m in 2 of the telegram groups and they are pretty dead, if you want to learn initially I’d read Wexboy stuff on twitter
