Thanks Groover, nice comment. These boards are more often full of people name throwing and trying to argue with each other which way a share price is going....so it is appreciated.

Haven’t seen a deal yet, but wouldn’t expect Trump to give up easily. Say what you like about him......one thing he gets is business deals and how to get them done, especially when he knows he can use the victory to show how he protected the US...in an election year. I believe it’s a Mexican stand off right now....and he wants a wave instead.

Indeed. I always say I am not an expert but have been a holder since Jan, and there is some great info on the website for those with the time to read. My understanding is that the challenge they were facing we the recruitment of the right volume of people to participate in the trials. I guess they needed to be sure you fitted the right category at the right time - i.e. you have COPD and feel like you have flu, but they needed to verify that it was what you had, but also get the timing just right, and also be clear how severe your symptoms were. Anyway, in reality all that has clearly been superseded by these events, and regrettably recruitment of patients is less challenging, albeit I guess the data is really important, i.e. Did the patient have any underlying lung conditions etc, and also trying to get the dose right based on the profile of the patient. Probably simples for people who understand this stuff....but baffles me most of the time. I just keep my fingers crossed that this can make a difference. The pictures of sufferers struggling to breathe is heart breaking......and my original investment was based on the fact I get asthma, which can be scary at the best of times.

Here is the problem as I see it PAD004. Oil won’t be at these levels but it will be low for a long time t come (IMO). These levels there is almost no single company making money. If it stays like this they pretty much all go bust eventually. So, assuming oil doubles from here, a great number will still go to the wall. Current oil price is irrelevant, it’s the price at which any of them turn a profit that is more interesting for me as I don’t see much shareholder value in companies unable to make money....it tends to spell the inevitable. Again, all IMO.

I personally no longer use oil as an indicator for economic health. For me there are 2 different battles now. A huge healthcare crisis causing an economic catastrophe, and an oil crisis caused more by a political war. Sure there is an overlap due to supply and demand, but the political war is causing greater damage and for me it’s therefore becoming less of an indicator. Q2 has largely been written off, it’s really about Q3 indicators IMO. I do however believe that the markets have got ahead of themselves right now. In the short term I see oil as a huge risk because it’s a double whammy....and then even when the environment improves there is now a decreasing desire to hold oil stocks as the world wakes up to climate change. The world and it’s thirst for oil is changing. Again, all IMO and I am certainly not saying there isn’t opportunity for short term trading profit. GLA whichever way you go.

Morning all. Popping in here as I do....been open with my position here for a while. I wish I understood this trial process better so it’s interesting to read all the comments. It just strikes me that with such an urgency needed, there must already be an indication as to whether this works. There is regrettably no shortage of potential patients from everything I read. Anyway, my interest here is as much a prayer for some form of medical win against this shocking illness as anything else. I am finding it interesting reading all the different thoughts so thank you. I guess there can only be a handful of similar situations in history where such an urgent benefit is required in a race against time and I just don’t know how that might impact protocol,.....although the need for benefits and side effects clearly has to be understood. GLA.

Hmm...not sure I quite share that view. No facts or figures from a very bullish RNS and immediately into a deeply discounted placing. If they don’t deliver anything in the very near future they will have lost any credibility and potential investors will make sure they pay for it....all IMHO.

Yup, I sold a few at about 24 as it’s not the direction of travel I was expecting. Left a modest holding in to see what the company can do from here when it’s debt free. Feel a bit disappointed as I held from 18 to 30 without selling, but it’s a bigger return than I would have got in a Bank I guess.

Correct. Commenting because I just happened to hear the US stats released by the TSA. Yes, it’s passengers as opposed to aircraft, but it was circa 2m passengers through TSA checks in a day about 5 weeks ago....down to 164k at the end of last week in a day. In a country of circa 300m people that gives you a flavour of how air travel has screamed to almost a halt. My understanding is that airlines are trying to work out how to split the routes between them to try and keep at least some planes in the air. Sorry, a little off topic but it’s what I heard.

Congrats to those who have been buying this, especially those who got them at £10. Rarely do you see a placing result in such a significant uplift. Have held BOO since 28p and sold a few along the way, but didn’t have the courage to buy this in the teens when I clearly should have done, so well done to all those who did and enjoy.

Hi again. I know I vented my frustration yesterday about the testing position. I am not a medical expert, but it strikes me that testing is the number 1 answer right now. Economies simply cannot recover if people cannot get to work, and that will drive urgent action. Social distancing cannot last forever, but who would want to go out apart from those that have to -call out to all key workers here especially NHS - we owe you! Every country is now realising that robust testing has to be the way forward. Yes, we need a cure, but having that doesn’t suddenly mean we will all rush out again. 100,000 tests per day by the end of April....if I could test my family twice a day right now i probably would....we probably need many times these figures being quoted and so do the rest of the world....but it’s right that the key workers are able to get tested daily first. And if i was testing my family daily, the other I would want to know is that it was accurate...otherwise that does causes even more issues. What does it mean for the share price....I have no idea - but I am 100% in the camp that says test as many as you can as often as you can...if that is millions every single day then let’s not wait...we have heard that money is no object after all! Anyway, all IMO of course!

I love CNBC. It’s on in the background most of the day....Jim has been a legend through this virus. You are right re Casinos....caused mainly by social distancing and travel bans right now...many with big hotels and a lot of rooms...empty. No such issue with on-line. 100% agree that it needs to be responsible gambling, and suspect the government will get taxes. Having said that, I have no issue with using these boards for some good discussion and it should help people do their own research and thinking before investing in any stock. Personally I like GAN. Morally, some may decide it’s not for them, just like many will not invest in oil, tobacco etc.

Frankly, there should be a full enquiry once we have cracked this virus. We have the solution available in our own country and the government is using a frankly meaningless word like’ efficient’. We need tests, tests, tests as does the rest of world....they are all saying that....that is the way we get this under control, and we have something in our country that can answer the need for tests, tests, tests but c90% are being shipped overseas. Shame on the decision makers for putting the country in this position, how dare you.

I suspect you are right. Even though it is perhaps a little counter intuitive when you look at where the future revenues are likely to originate from. International dealing fairly straight forward with the right trading account, although clearly subject to exchange rate fluctuations. I noticed sports wagering was down as expected.....not much to wager on, but increases elsewhere....and bricks and mortar casinos remain pretty much closed.

Will be interesting to see if this does go to that price level again. It is very unpredictable because the length of the impact from Covid 19 is unknown, but at some point there will be a lot of children needing parties and a lot of people who holiday in the UK looking for something to do.......or wanting to socialise again. Yes, it does assume that there is sufficing employment not to make this a ‘luxury’ activity, but I do think there is a future here. Clearly it is all IMHO and time will be a key influencer here...as with many other businesses.
