Great to see it holding $15 today. Sliced a few as I need some cash elsewhere, but otherwise it’s staying in GAN for the foreseeable.

I made my purchase earlier on - was happy with around £2. Might dip into the £1s at some point, but normally the pets will be looked after very well, however tough things are. Pets play a vital role in many people's lives so they are rightly well looked after....or maybe that's just my dog that is utterly spoilt before anyone else!

Interesting if that turns out to be the case, because in reality it is the ‘older’ generation who are likely to still have a greater % of disposable cash in a recession., even in a world of reduced savers rates and dividends.

May be right. But, the way I see it is supply is not a problem for the foreseeable - it’s demand that will cause the headache, or the lack of it. Restaurants and hotels are two of the sectors where this is an unknown coming out of lockdown.

Not sure that will happen immediately. I would have thought the underwriters would be keen to avoid being sat on a lump in the current climate. They must have agreed level of interest price with IIs before announcing. Medium term it’s then down to C19. I wonder how long it will take to get back to the kind of level of movement/leisure and business travel we had before. Certainly could be bumpy medium term.

Rather surprised people were given the opportunity to sell at about £26 this morning, ahead of the inevitable retrace towards the aggregate holding price post rights. Circa 7% swing. Interesting really, I guess the Costa sale may well have been at the peak...but perhaps they would do something different with the cash knowing what they know now...but if we all had a crystal ball.

Full year out.....it will be one of the few dividends being paid at this rate.

But a fairly lumpy RI at £15 to make the balance sheet stronger so balance sheet maybe not quite strong enough.

Should find they are in HL now. Currently ticket up over $15.....let’s see if it can hold this time. Nasdaq performance is remarkable really, but tec is the show in town everyone wants to be at.

Year after year M&S has hired expensive new talent, and year after year the results become a horror show. Share price is on its knees when other food retailers and some on-line clothes retail win share. Something pretty drastic is needed otherwise this is fast become a gravy train for senior Execs. Such a pity.

It’s hard really - 8 patients so a lot of segments will not have been represented. Fingers crossed that the 8 really are an indicator for how everyone would respond, old, young, existing conditions etc. We sure could do with a positive way forward better than ‘don’t get too close to each other’.

You may see a drop tomorrow. DOW currently down 300 and CCL 5%, which has accelerated since the FTSE closed so likely to ripple out tomorrow. Still some bumpy times ahead. Most have worked out that buying on the dips and selling into the rises has been the pattern for a while, but everyone has a different approach.

One of miNe landed today. I suspect HL will be late as I recall they were early to remove.

Always worth keeping an eye on the DOW as 14:30 nears.....it tends to provide a good steer of direction. Not always but IMO.

Well that sure isn’t going to help when investors are already nervous. You would have thought they would have learnt from the BA experience, sadly it appears not.

I have to admit I do agree with you on that one. It all sounded lovely, but there was nothing I could see that was actually going to pay the bills. Not really sure why it was deemed to be market sensitive and news worthy of an RNS. All IMO.
