Until there’s an announcement of say doubling of the defence budget the war will only have a negative effect. The RAF is very small, we need to see orders for multiple aircraft powered by RR across the European airforces to see a positive bump in sp. Just my humble view.

JTT, Even Putin couldn't be mad enough to let a nuke off over Ukraine. This is a test of all his new toys and showing them off whilst he can. He knows he's had (got) Germany in his pocket, virtually unarmed. The UK probably the one country in europe that the US could rely on to fight has been neutering itself and doesn't have the industry to fight back anyway.

Any clues when the ITP aero sale will be completed, I know its been agreed and is in the 1st half of 2022. My guess is that its already priced in and end of year results will be the next potential uptick point (maybe, though negative news seems to drive this up!).

What are peoples thoughts on these guys for data?

They’re saying that RR (Lon) is 72% under valued, the market pricing would currently disagree. I’m currently into RR in a significant way. I’ve only been dabbling since April last year and done ok, can’t have enough data to help decisions
