I'm sure you're right re BAE and QQ and I hope and believe you're right as I have positions on both.

Likewise I have positions on both BT and VOD which have significant structural issues not least of which is significant debt. The other issue with both of them is poor management, I worked for 4 of 5 elements that comprise the 2 companies and the remaining one, openreach I've dealt with lots. Both have fixed and mobile offerings of which at least BT understand the fixed line element unlike Voda. I'm taking the attitude that both will come good at some point (med to long) and load up in small batches whilst the prices are low. They both pay reasonable divi's

HL have messaged me numerous times telling me I’m not sufficiently diverse. I am where I planned to be more or less, just it now looks in seriously exposed to RR because if it’s meteoric rise from my average of 103. At worst my portfolio (around 20 investments) was -25% it’s now +116% only IAG and good old easy jet are not behaving at the minute.

We all do our research and invest as we see fit, tullow and hammerson did well for me and unusually I got out at just the right time as they’ve gone nowhere.

Do your research and invest based on that and it’ll either work or not

I had my red day yesterday and I think Tuesday but overall unless something cracks the mirror it’s been a good week at mill😀

At the time I bought into RR I purchased so actual yellow stuff for £32 per gram, now as you know £52 not quite as good as RR but pretty good return! Can only see it going up. Nice thing is you can’t actually spend 10g blocks in the shops and it’s CGT free

Business has and always will be at a senior level done face to face, it’s about relationships. Relationships that can’t be built as easily on zoom as they are on a golf course or a senior level eyeball to eyeball basis. It’s an absolute misnomer that it’ll ever be any other way

bab**** seem to have pretty much sorted out their contractual issues from a few years ago. they ought now to be heading in the right direction, profit this year was paltry but should vastly improve going forward.

When I started my journey during the pandemic I thought they seemed ok, rapidly learnt that they’re very useful and now usually do the complete opposite.

Got me a couple of times, then I worked it out. Good explanation though
