Data centres are huge consumers of energy, much much more than Joe Public realises. Building SMR to power data centres will enormously reduce the load on public infrastructure. There are parts of London that can build housing due to lack of energy as the data centres consume so much.

I divested some profit into BA and BaB early on and have done nicely from those, still mileage in those I think. Still have a scary amount in RR that proportionately makes my top number bounce wildly!!

Fordm Sadly this is one of those recovery stocks that's so far failed to recover. I hope the current purchase of another airline is blocked and money used to reduce the debt pile. I've reduced to about 30k, hopeful it'll break even this year. I could think of a good half dozen shares that'd be worth double at least by now

Buzz, My guess is you'll need to watch closely. Looking at the behaviour of this share over the last 18 months in particular, it's trajectory is up and the sentiment around the results (little bit of v g news leakage) and you have to choose your jump in point. I purchased another 12k shares this morning, wish that little chunk of funds had been around this time last year!

Good question. This time last year we got a slightly early view on the numbers, the resultant bump (like the last few days) turned into a significant climb, as it did in Oct/Nov last year. But who knows if this is the case this time. Depends on the rest of the details we'll learn on the 22nd I guess. But as a trading junior I know nothing

The CGN have options on Bradwell, that needs to kicked into the long grass and GBN build SMR there, perfect as it's interconnects are all in place.
