Not had a good history with stops. Overslept Monday morning and I’d stupidly put a stop on , bit of panic during a sleep damaged weekend…. The stupidity cost me circa 2000 shares once I’d gone back in.

Medium to long term we'll all be laughing I'm sure, this sure this isn't a 'Marconi' that will disappear (yes got caught in the dotcom bubble). It's now just a case of either sitting tight or playing some of the turbulence if the nerves allow.

The next day or two will tell, we may see it go either way over the next few days. I failed to cancel my stop loss this morning so sitting on a chunk of profit, ready to catch it if there's another drop. I'm happy to catch 2.5%+ if it shows its face

The following article might make the nervous feel a bit better. Trump and tariffs should be a blip, unless there’s a genuine 1920’s style crash we should see the SP return to those highs and higher. When you look at the growth curve, the huge jump we had most recently is a bit of a anomaly, albeit a rather good one, we’re now still tracking upwards, we’ve just lost the ‘blip’, for now. Someone’s gotta shoot me down

This just like Covid, the start of the war in Ukraine and to a lesser extent Gaza, it will recover, just as long as you don’t need it, history says it will! This may feel bad or should I say like the great depression of the 1920’s but it’s unlikely.

I was enjoying feeling like a million dollars ….. over 20% down, confident that RR is the right investment for the medium to long term.

Just got off a 1hr call with fishers, in a nutshell they view this as a correction with recovery over the next 6-12 months taking stocks to new highs. European stocks are their rebalance away from the US as they expect higher growth in the Eurozone (inc UK) than the US. Let’s hope they’re right and not the beginning of a bear market

We’ve certainly had an ‘interesting’ ride over the last 5 years, Covid, Ukraine, Gaza, a Labour government, now Trump …… not great for anyone of a nervous disposition! Can’t be many more grenades surely??

Vulcan man myself in terms of AVRo but the Lancaster is superb and a pleasure to see and hear. Shame we don’t have a few more heavies like Halifax or Sterling though.

So the idiot thinks RR is overpriced because Heathrow appears incapable of adequate design, build, construction and operation of its power supplies. Though he does state it was outside Heathrow’s control, which it categorically wasn’t as they had three diverse HV supplies each with its own backup but not configured to supply the airport fully if one was lost! Incompetence!
