Boeing are certainly having a rough time of it over the last few years and seem to be getting deeper in the doo doo. Airbus must be rubbing their hands (a bit like us at the thought), though supply chains and the huge back orders mean capitalising isn't easy, though I'm sure China will do it's best, they usually do.

My thoughts are that it was always a tall ask considering manufacturing problems in the US to be selling three Virginia class boats to Australia, the US has an acute shortage by their standards. IF the US pulls out I cant see them not supplying the combat systems and if I'm not mistaken they're supplying the nuclear PP for future Aukus.

Looks like the builders are getting a fair chunk of peoples investment yesterday and today, eyeing share price growth and bigger dividends. It's been very sleepy. RR have partnered with Laing O'Rouke for the SMR infrastructure build, they're (LO) already involved with Hinkley 'C', they're supposed to be IPO ing at some point and might be worth a punt, though that seems to be blowing hot and cold, anyone here know if they're going ahead with the IPO this year?

I just think of my old local site Bradwell, apart from the decom jobs the dengie peninsula has been hit hard for jobs since it closed, they were never unhappy with it being there, I've even stood on the old reactor pile when it was live. All of the interconnect kit still there and an old airfield begging to be built on and big enough for 4 SMR I'd imagine.
