I have been following price of gas. It makes sense that it drops as the ‘buckets’ are full and reality is at odds with the popular narrative of the press. Worse still fancy building a tax policy on a windfall if there is no wind!

I was hoping gcat, neighbour, would get a ‘SHG’ lift as an unsuccessful bidder may look at them. They have a working mine +£20m cap to replicate it and are producing with expo upside. Yep makes sense. They went down! Lol!

Gas down 5.18% at 5.688.

Hedging is lower so it will follow gas within a bandwidth. The floor covers the divi obviously as long as we shift volume.

So like I say the sp will follow HH gas prices but will/should disconnect both up and down outside of a bandwidth. The trading range we have seen over the last 6 months is 126/140 ish

If one is invested here for income then that range should be tolerable with the obvious opportunity to add on dips or if trading to sell a % above 135 ish and buy below 130 ish to work the margins.

Obviously the market can still move the sp outside of those ranges but that’s the principle. The main thing is the yield which is covered and the SP should return to range if all other factors remain.

It won’t take long for the market to gauge that only 1 from 3 can succeed so that leaves the other 2 to look elsewhere? Mmmm

Todays move through to 156 makes little sense. There is very small volume.

I can only assume there is a big buyer trying to accumulate stock.

I am tempted to add again but common sense warns me against buying a low volume trend.

I guess that shows I am not too rampy a holder here! Lol!

Looks like Stifel are buying on down days and not on up days.

All said though if you compare DEC to BP and SHEL on google finance both incidentally also have buybacks we are all tracking same. Difference is though DEC still has +10% yield, downside hedged and divi well covered!

If the guy on site is blabbing about how it’s an easy systems fix and nothing to worry about then those close could be buying. Insider knowledge, for sure but it’s small change here and would be so difficult to prove.

I did think about grabbing more but tbh I think 150 seems to be the top of the bounce on the chart so would rather wait at this level but may add if it drips back.

Can only conjecture what the drop was for. Seems to coincide with LDI as it’s bounced in unison with insurers today. If that’s the case then it’s technical selling which means one for the bargain hunters.

The last update was sooo good.

If they do raise it will be accretive so not bothered will buy any dip here. A little gem imo!

Good day today after such a sht couple of weeks but selling and buying lower has paid off. I only need 651 at phnx now and others are back in the blue! Back in the race now! Dow liked BoA results!

Oh until the flipping nuclear drills probably throw in another spanner! But let’s just hope for some calm markets.

Winter months are often the best and stocks can climb ahead of recession. Probably a bit early yet though, watching cyclicals closely!

4m sell taken us right down. That’s what the BoD get for creating uncertainty. No matter how good the latest upstart is they all seem to make the same mistakes of over promising based on a supposed surety of events that are pretty much out of their control coming to fruition on time. They never learn and worse still not do we! Doh!

I have had a huge dip at TXP from its highs, I still hold from fortunately the lows, due to similar BoD behaviours.

I think todays drop should at least force some urgency of news from the BoD and let’s hope it’s up to expectations!
