Hi Cash, nice to hear from you. Been keeping an eye occasionally, but not anywhere near what I used to.
Yes amazing to see SP at this price, but under bizarre circumstances. Chinese got some questions to answer, creating this mess.
Trouble with TD, he was always in buying mode, and one day it was going to bite him on the arse. We all know cash is king. (Excuse the pun) I had a big feeling there was something up with the Zama sale, as used to his flimsy, "wishy washy" words. We have extended the offer, told me, they did not have enough money offered or there was a problem....... so remained cautious at that point. Will he learn from this, that anything can happen unexpectedly, with oil prices...very much doubt it. I guess, TD just moves to another company, when things get tough as its not his money. I do think PMO will scrape through all this, but the debt burden, will be a big drag for a while again and refinancing will be a tough time, considering what has just happened, as banks will want to protect their loaned funds even more than before. IMHO
The next couple months will be massive for many companies, just hope this infection slows down and we all get back to normal.
Had all my future Liver appts cancelled, at the hospital, so feel for all those that waiting for urgent operations etc.......
Have you got any good buys anywhere Cash ? if so, you could make quite a bit in next 18 months.
Keep yourself & family safe and all the very best mate for any investments you may have.
Hi Dodger, been watching it lately, tempted, but never pressed the button. You could make 100% in quick time, but at same time, could get into trouble quickly. Once we start lock downs being lifted and no repeats of infection, maybe would look at punt, but nowhere near last amount. SP holding up okay considering the big drop in oil.
I put some in Lloyds, then they pulled the dividend, so guess many must be suffering some disappointments at the moment. Bought some more LLoyds at 30.5p, so just got to be patient on that one.
What about you ? Are you in much ? Hows the job , you at home on leave I take it.
Since we caught up, lost 5 stone....... intentionally...... at advice from liver consultant. Hope all going well Dodger, best wishes to you and family.
I see the 3 stooges, that have been ramping PMO for last few months, not been seen for dust lately.
Just shows, never listen to permanent rampers on this board, who constantly have knocked those that have given their honest view. Logic told us that with no planes flying, people not holidaying, cars not being used, in the world, oil inventories were not going down.
Once lock downs have been lifted and the world slowly returns to some normality, is when oil will be back in demand, but there is alot of glut to get through first.
Grippa, Outbutnotdown, Nigoil, do you agree yet ? Or are you still in ramping mode ?
Good luck to everyone apart from the 3 x stooges. (who will have sold out but not told anyone) LOL
I see the same rampers, Grippa and co, still telling everyone, this will be £1 in days/weeks. All been saying they topping up all way down from £1.20.
Have they not seen, no-one is travelling anywhere and unlikely many to be even after lockdown finished. Would you still go on holiday this year, ?
After all the deceit and cheats in OPEC in the past have never kept to their word on their cuts, do you expect them to suddenly be all honest. All words and hot air.
Once travel gets back to normal and people know for sure this is under control, is time oil will be getting used like it did before. Until then SP and oil will do it's up and down fluid movements so hedge funds can keep making their money from pernanent ramping fools like Grippa.
Good luck to all honest holders, eventually this virus will blow over and things will get back to normal, but not in next few weeks, even months.
Outbutnotdown, you do like telling porkies. You would be on a sinking ship, still shouting, it's not going down your honour.
Where's your other stooges, who ramped away, grippa and Nigoil. Disappeared as fast as they came, leaving the ship.
So the exact 3 stooges Inc you, had you listened, instead of insulting others would not be 87% down.
You 3 will always be in denial, always got some excuse why you always get it wrong, while leading others up the garden path.
Maybe you ,Grippa, Nigoil should have listened instead of ramping merrily away, while insulting others. The way you talked yourself up i thought you were a serious investor, with a few quid. LOL
Good luck to all other LTH on here and old colleagues, hope it all comes good for you all and wish you the very best.
Outbutnotdown one of the 3 stooges comes back from the disappearing trick, but as he not invested, does not matter it's dropped 50%
Class statement, great advice for investors, now ask those that invested in Carillon, Afren, Thomas Cook, Flybe and many more which stayed down and disappeared.
Prize k n o b
Hi Dodger, good to hear from you, glad you did not lose anything. I think you are right, it may not be bottom, but need to see the cure for Virus first, then at least we know dates. But the loss of using oil over this period, will have shown a surplus, so not sure how fast they get it back down.
This Zama sale, also i think is a big factor, something we talked about......... if it does not come off or is delayed for a long time, that £400m possible income will dent for sure, especially since they are adding more debt, (or twice as many shares) with this acquisition and we still do not know the terms of rights issue.
Anyway, will keep an eye out how it goes.
Biopsy was not good result, got another MRI & Endoscopy and they put me on every few months monitor list, so going to enjoy each few months. Managed to get down to 17 stone 3 now, lost 4.5 stone, so feel great in myself. Hope all well at your end and catch up soon Dodger, keep away from those fatty burgers :) LOL
MrD, you kept forecasting a crash and were holding out for it initially, but this virus seems to be bringing your prediction true.
It may still drop a bit, but for sure, this virus will find a solution and things will go back to normal. I understand the warmer weather (above 26 degrees) this virus does not survive, so lets prey we have a hot summer . Good luck MrD, genuinley hope you get back your losses.
Hello Cash, MrD, Dodger and all LTH, hope you are all okay, just popped in to see what was happening and cannot believe this is down to 62p.
Not surprising given that there is uncertainty over Zama sale and this virus. Hope it comes good for everyone.
I see the 3 stooges, Grippa, (who last said he had 139,000 shares in here, oh dear, but did anyone believe him ) and Nigoil and Outbutnotdown disappeared off the face of the earth. That's what happens to pure and permanent rampers, always try to demean honest opinions, then disappear, leaving everyone for dust. Grippa, still ramping the fall of 50% are you ? Maybe follow the honest opinions next time. Good job not everyone follows your advice Grippa, wouldn't you say, or they would lose their pants ! he asks what is a beta ??? makes you laugh, calling himself an investor. LOL
Good luck to all others on this board, if you are still holding, this virus will eventually find a solution and things will get back to normal, just maybe 6 to 12 months.
Great, cheers Dodger. See you.
Dodger, you ok with Mon 20th at 1.00pm, at Toby Carvery, Kenton Bank Foot, NE3 3TY. Catch up soon. :)
Thank you to all the posters that have taken the time to wish me well, with my recent health. It is really appreciated. I am not after any pity, as a couple suggest, but I have been on this forum for quite a few years and there are many people, where we are all in the same boat trying to make some money and it is good to have a chat through many on here.
I will still be checking in from time to time, as nice to catch up with whats going on with friends on here, albeit online.
I sincerely wish all holders the best of luck and once again, thanks to all posters who are above the small minded couple of trolls, (Nigoil etc..) been great to be on this BB. Cheers guys.
Dodger16, in response to your original message, it would be great to catch up, although would prefer somewhere where we could have a chat, sometimes the quayside is very busy and also as you know, it would just be soft drink, with my condition.
I live 2 miles North from city area, so not sure which area you are in, but can get anywhere pretty quickly.
Nice to see/meet a face on here. (although would prefer to meet Nigoil in person, as met these bully's before, when it comes to insulting people, not behind a keyboard, they are mice.)
p.s. dont read this much these days.......
boracic & Bear13 - thanks for your wishes, all the best to you.
ARCM Hunter - Not sure of your last guise, (am curious now :)) but thanks and hope you are in profit now and thanks for your kind words and support.
Auson - I only drank a can every 2 to 3 weeks, so this is not related to alcohol. It is called non alcohol cirrhosis of the liver, developed from many years of sitting at desk. I am 6ft 2 and 21.5 stone (ex rugby) and it started as a fatty liver, then has developed into cirrhosis. Should have acted alot sooner, so that's my advice to all, make sure you exercise each day, keep weight down, eat healthy. I am with hepatology specialist at Newcastle Freeman Hospital, one of just a few in UK that specialise with liver, dodger16 will know it as he lives in Newcastle I think. Anyway good luck Auson, always been a great pleasure to communicate with good people on here.
falklandinvestor - Can be stressful having alot of eggs in one basket, but if you have long term confidence, patience often wins, always very risky but its risk versus rewards.
Nigoil, outbutnotdown, - Come on guys , surely you are better and more mature than making comments like that. One day, someone will give you some unfortunate news, that you will not see your family one day. I hope you remember that feeling, for only then will you realise the devastation it leaves behind to your family and how important true friends and family really are.
Beerbull, thanks mate, appreciate it, been a tough few years, some days I was up and down £30k to £50k and it puts stress on you, same as Mrd experienced, so glad to be up and not getting stressed.
Unfortunately, Beerbull, I have been told I have cirrhosis of the liver last week and no recovery with it, so all the money in the world will not bring back memories. I am not sure how long I have, but will enjoy every moment until then. At least my wife will not have to worry, with this extra return, so it was worth it.
My advice to all, is look after friends and family, they are the most important people in your life, you never know what is round the corner. I am 58.
Good luck Beerbull, hope you and others achieve your dreams.
Maybe all posters should send a "sorry about your loss" card or email to ARCM, as a joke, as I do feel for them, laugh is on them now. Good riddance to them, hope they lose their jobs.
As many of you know on this forum (especially some older posters), I have been in PMO for last few years, with a large holding and have taken a lot of pain along the way, with the ups and downs.
Many on here that are newer posters, have called me a de-ramper, as I have had my honest views, especially, that I thought there would be an equity raise, near £1.00, which made sense, especially to leverage their refinancing, with actual production.
I guess the realty is just because you are not with the majority of posters, never means you are right or wrong.
Also, many knew around £104 to £109 ish was going to be a good result for me, so I have taken profits now of £247,000 so wish you all the best of luck to all genuine holders here. I may have another dabble in the future, but nowhere near the risk I took, which I am thankful has paid off.
Good luck to all genuine open minded posters here, I hope you have either reached or reach your own goals. Will keep looking in from time to time. :)
The longer they wait to close their shorts hoping they can save some losses, the more PMO will hopefully go up and screw them more.
Am laughing in their faces today......and now they will have to close and they know that will only increase the SP more, so they in no win i.e. lose lose situation.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha !!!!
In fairness Iran have been poking the lion for a little while now, so was just going to be a matter of time before some retaliation. Don't forget the British oil tanker that they illegally held. The reality is they are a bit of a rogue state.
Either way, surely we need to start to see the short close, to know they are pulling the short off and the games are stopping.
No company wants to see shorts, whatever the reason it was to put them on, as it will affect the SP.
The last refinancing was a complete mess, so hopefully they will have learned from this and by end of QTR 1, according to TD, all will be finalised, then ARCM short, should have disappeared. Only TD will know any other surprises.
