As I have repeatedly posted, no chemotherapy is ever going to be a cure. That is why I am invested in HEMO which has drugs that potentially will cure certain cancers. I increasing think that that is why BP aren’t investing in us yet. Hopefully the beast results will be so compelling that they will invest in Avacta.

That AVA6000 continues to work is an excellent thing. But in financial terms this is another “jam tomorrow “ RNS. As someone posted on Monday, this announcement is only confirming what we thought we already knew and was already factored into the SP.

I’m sure the Pom Pom girls will be delighted, as will the patients for whom AVA6000 is and will be effective (if it ever gets to market). But I am totally underwhelmed. Not so much with the clinical results but the way CC has hyped all this. But hey, it is my own fault, I started to believe. I’m even getting Pom poms for Christmas. I should have known better given what has gone before.

Someone summarise the presentation later. I cannot bear to watch.

And this is why BP will continue to pump money into gene therapy etc which actually cures cancer.

When i worked in US, one of my project leaders was a Pom Pom Boy. You wouldn’t want to have argued with him. When we talked about it he said they had to have guys at the bottom of pyramid formations to take the massive weight of those on top
