You argued against me at the first announcement of 6103 when I said the focus had fundamentally shifted away from 6000

What we have seen is Avacta intentionally dragging their feet on 6000 whilst still bigging it up in order to maintain the SP until they could announce excellent preclinical results for 6103.

Avacta won’t take 6000 into P2. Probably no one will. They will keep up the pretence until 3Q26 when first 6103 clinical results get published. Why would they 6103 offers a far superior delivery mechanism. I guess 6104 will deliver doxorubicin.

I’m saving for the inevitable fundraise to try to miniise my dilution. That’s if we get a chance to buy any rather than them all going to Zeus!!!

I think that the majority of PIs are extremely nervous at this point and rightly so. After years of talk of pivotal moments, we truly are at a pivotal moment. CC has set very high expectations and despite the view held by some that “current SP doesn’t matter, in time it will all come good”, if we get another jam tomorrow RNS, many people will take the profits they’ve made (up from 30p).

PS. reassessing the risk/reward balance of a share is not a matter of integrity, it is an essential part of good investment strategy. At this point I am tempted to repeat the “golden” rules of investment, but I won’t because no one is listening.

I would love to think so but the trial I was involved with had a 6 month “recruitment “ window followed by a further 6 months of prescreening before treatment started. The first blood tests took 2 months to be analysed.

If the enrollment for 6103 clinical trial starts I April say, when should we expect first doses to be administered?

You know full well that what I said was that I had lost £9k on my investment. Someone else replied that the loss isn’t crystallised until the investment is sold I haven’t sold any Avacta shares for nearly 3 years.

Anyway I am fed up with spiteful posters who only want to cause arguments. You probably haven’t even got any shares. Don’t bother replying - you’re binned.

I’m with you on this. I didn’t say before, but I bought two sets of pom-poms (couldn’t resist, they were buy one get one free and I thought they meant buy a Pom Pom and get the other one of the set free). Even I’m getting fed up with the half life thing. Especially when you insist on winding up Thorn.

You know that the half life discussion is NOT about doxorubicin. It is about the half life of AVA6000. And its relevance is because the longer the dose stays circulating the more of it passes the tumour and therefore (presumably) the more gets cleaved.

Yesterday”s presentation by CC was painful to watch especially when it came to Q&A. Many on here have commented. You must have noticed. The market certainly did. The previous presentation she absolutely buzzed, exuding huge confidence.

I can only presume that she was originally expecting to announce today’s excellent news at the end of yesterday’s presentation but couldn’t.

Anyway further good news, no one has taken up my offer for my set of Pom poms so I will be all set going into the New Year.

CC was so different today compared with her last outing. Almost makes me wonder if originally she thought that she would be able to add a final piece to her presentation today along the lines of “on the basis of these results we have been able to conclude a licensing deal for AVA6000 with Novartis the details of which will be published in January “???

Excellent thank you. But really CC should have pushed this point otherwise to the man on the Clapham omnibus the slide doesn’t look that impressive. Perhaps it needs another line on it showing likely tumour growth without chemo.

Not a good investment philosophy in my view. It’s the approach that often sees people cling on to a dead duck all the way down into liquidation.

And before you all start, I am not saying Avacta is a dead duck. But as we descended from well over 200p it was that attitude that stopped me crystallising my losses at 150p. But at least I stopped buying more.

Anyhooo I’m looking forward to a great Christmas now. Especially what my wife is getting me to replace the pom poms. While I need to take her gold bracelet back and exchange it for a silver one. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
