I'm delighted with the RNS as I'm sure we all are. I'm guessing this progress has been reported since last Wednesday.

So there are no material side effects with SCOV1 and the 'emerging data is encouraging'. Let's see how SCOV2 does . . .

AB thanks for that link showing RG at Frankfurt - takes me back . . . You managed to dig that one up! The interview sparked some excitement and speculation at the time. Strange to think that's 8 years ago now and how much Scancell have moved forward since then. Now we just want to see some of that progress reflected in the SP.

RR's GBP 3.20 as I recall, was derived from RG quoting the sale of another BioTech around that time - their price divided by our no. of shares.

Thanks all - I'm very glad I asked the question and btw, I don't think I've ever rec'd so many posts in one day LOL. Perhaps the situation with the Covidity trial is not quite so bad as was suggested earlier. And I can see that with the Omicron wave in full riot in RSA, it must have been very difficult to find anyone with NO contact in 14 days, (how could the Candidates be sure of that anyway?).

Obviously it's harder for a small Bio to drive trials - let's hope the newly manned up and financed Scancell we now have, can eventually push it forwards this time.

BTW IMO Bob unless you committed to confidence, I'm sure Prof. is OK about posting that and she knew just what she was doing. Maybe next time they can include such comment in the Report!

The 'maths' behind the comment seems open to question and let's hope they can do more henceforth. Of course it's a horrendous time for trials, but Scancell seem 'patchy' on dynamism in this area.

OK Ivy got that - whilst appreciating it's not easy - we have to get it done! Scancell's record with trials is patchy to say the least.

Ruck - I agree the reason seems lame - when infections were higher in RSA, it should still have been possible to find some candidates for the trial, indeed you might argue that the incentive then for the candidates, would have been enhanced. The 'Lung Institute' ?

Not a good situation at at all. Let's hope they can pull it around !

So I am asking, where does the trial go now or is it feasible for it have to proceed with just the 16 participants ?

After the Interims, I admit to feeling some real disappointment. A very quiet BB reflected that, justified or not, I was maybe not alone. WF's post about the profit was the first 'cheer up', (on a point I had noticed myself).

Our BB optimists kept going throughout the day and that was good to see, but as for the '16', IMO that was always the 'current figure'.

BOBBUST - I am so glad you found the email address, although I always worry about LTH distracting the CEO who is NO doubt, so very busy. But THANKS for that - how valuable was the reply you got ! Now we KNOW !

On a general point, whilst updates area always useful and optimism is essential as an LTH Investor here, I have always thought it it unlikely that Interim/Annual statements will include any 'inflection point' news. Bringing deals to fruition is a gruelling process and the timing is just not likely to coincide with one particular day.

Dark prince - I'm not sure but I think you are right. Prof. Lindy's comments are current NOT 31/10 and there is a comment acknowledging 'slow recruitment'
