On the other hand, a modicum of social chat does oil the wheels of the relevant discourse too - you have to remember many of us have been here for aeons - myself 10 years now! When the BB is moribund and bereft of a relevant aspect to work on, some chat about other topics, keeps some continuity.

Ruck - I'd guess Keiny's GBP 3 comes from RG's comment absolutely yonks ago (8/9 years?), mentioning with a smile, that another Biotech had just sold for GBP1 billion (vis our total shares thenabouts). I think the BB descended on the idea 'en masse' and applied it to Scancell. Turned out to be wishful thinking did it not?

Absolutely ! Just MO that now, with Redmile and Vulpes now very much on board, Scancell's science will be the subject of commercial progress before too long. Redmile haven't been around too long and that's in a period when lab work and commercial fever have been inhibited because of you know what.

The AZN news is good for Scancell - the sooner the UK can erect an immunity barrier for CV-19 with Oxford/AZ the sooner hospitals, cancer treatment and cancer trials can get back on track, maybe facilitating progress with Modi1 and SCIB2 trials. Covidity is a 2nd generation vaccine which will be invaluable later as the pandemic is likely to persist if at a lower level. Remember, we don't know how long Oxford/AZ vaccinated immunity will last - 6 months is often mentioned and that won't take us as far as next winter - we are not likely to eradicate CV-19 and who knows what's coming next anyway ? Covid 20 ?

Compound yes it would be brilliant if BioNTech got involved with Covidity but they must know all about that and Scancell's IP generally - there's been no commercial progress. Maybe the logistics of their CV-19 vaccine will prove a handicap now that Moderna and Oxford are up and running and they might turn our way? Who knows ?

As for the thread header, I'd guess some short term holders are wobbling and a bit of trading is going on - when the peptides for delivery of Covidity are sorted, that'll give us a boost for sure. GLA

Apparently, the regime is two full doses, the second at an interval of between 4 and 12 weeks. Insufficient data to act on the half dose first dose confusion.

On R4 the comment - 'no one on the trial who had received at least one dose had needed Hospitalisation'. That's massive IMO, hearing today that some Hospitals are already overloaded. Great news for Violindog and us all.
