Bermuda thanks very much for that - 'recognition' by CEPI for Covidity is indeed a 'big deal' and just one other Gen 2 project is mentioned. It seems to me there's a tremendous amount of groundwork going on and whatever is said about CH, a lot of this has been brought through under his 'stewardship'.

I see you mention 'the science will see us through' theme/comment - please note, there's more to it than just those words, of course - a real conviction that the massive depth and range of Scancell's science and patents will in all likelihood, propel the commercial progress - one day ! ATB

Hasiba - hang on there - I think the point being made is that in BioTech investment generally, a major step for 'gains' to accrue, is often a simple and successful Phase one study ?

And whilst Scancell haven't YET landed a major commercial triumph, (maybe with the exception of the transformational Redmile involvement), the Science, which WILL see us through (IMHO) and the Scientists, are hardly to blame for that aspect and have performed themselves with amazing distinction ?

Crumbs - yes 'results by early summer', say June, just 3 months hence - that seems very unlikely. But it's just Vulpes' private take to someone - (the blitz 'few weeks' referred to the start of trials did it not ? )

However, IMO it's good to see a major Investor having a real positive, (or cheeky) view.

I'm not sure how one 'over hypes', one hypes or one does not, but if one does, it's delusional to think that comments attributed or unattributed will affect the SP much.

Well yes Krafty. Maybe that's why CH took a reserved position on Covidity progress plus the fact that it would be better for Scancell to achieve inside a timeline for once, rather than be delayed again. But IMO it's good we've had some signals that Covidity progress is good.

It seems very unlikley to me that the advance of Covidity, if it comes to be, will disturb the existing UK vaccination program - even now, we don't know that the 'delivery' method is fully sorted and it's not in trial for some weeks at the very earliest.

IMO in all likelihood, it's genuine and a nice echo of what emerged in the recent media 'blitz'. And after all, CH did not contradict it, as 'a few weeks time' WILL be in 2021, I'm inclined to go with the quote as genuine, but of course, I could be wrong.

I thought it was very well written and don't understand why you might feel otherwise. But never mind. And after all, timing wise it echoes the other sounds we've had recently. So I tend to think the piece IS genuine in which case, bravo !

Hi Roses, (Hasiba, RW etc.). With respect I think there's more than 'a hope in hell' and the post is very likely to be genuine. IF it was false, surely Vulpes or Prof. Peter James will before too long, surely do something to refute it.

If you remember, the appearance of NXC was greeted with stubborn doubt for weeks/months by some - on the other hand, many of us seemed to know instinctively it was indeed DE.

IMO this piece, kindly found by 'Chillpill', who has proved to be a helpful Poster before, is very likely to be genuine. As in the NXC matter, the way it is written suggests the highest level of understanding and a professional way of putting the case.

IF this piece had been put together by some clever ramper, he would have neede to pull a script with that level of expertise, from somewhere else, and I note our bloodhounds here and there, have not yet 'found' what might be the 'real' source, yet.
