Violin I can see and share your impatience with the progress of the Covidity trial and understand your imploring to extract the proverbial ! Over the years, Scancell have frequently shown the ability to surprise us with their science but getting Patients into trials doesn't seem to have been a strongpoint . . to say the least.

Thanks 2CV - so CEPI have $200 million in readies and the offer is open to all, (as I hear it). One would expect Scancell to have a go but of course, there might be strings attached to the CEPI money which might not suit Scancell and any others interested in 'Covidity'.

But we know Scancell are on the CEPI radar so who knows ? Excellent !

It seems Scancell may soon have actual Patients on an actual Clinical Trial - THAT is indeed a long awaited event !! Quite startling after all this time . . . Good Luck to Prof. Lindy, the Team (and the Patients).

Crumbs thanks for some excellent posts today about the potential that Scancell's IP carries. Let's hope some of it starts to happen ! To know some Patients had been recruited would certainly lift the spirits ? Inan added some more in his 43991 below :-

"I will explain why Crumbs has under valued . . . . . . If Moditope works as expected ... it will be spectacular .. cancer melting away. If it works even marginal it will still probably out perform Keytruda in more indications ...

But ... you can't TCR swap Keytruda ........ so it gives you TCR therapy already working but Lindy still needs a High Avidity T cell which they can clone out after we have patients responding .... (its a technical process in how T cells over time which are activated and engage a target "improve") which leads on to the mouse model ... Modi1 proves us the mouse model in all other indications.

You then have the Modi2 ...but that is homocitrulline .. which actually can work in combo with Modi1 or stand alone .. which again improves our chance of success -
its just goes on and on and on ..........."

(I tried to make 43991 a bit clearer with puncs etc. - for my own purposes in the reading of !).

RW I too am truly sorry to hear of your loss and as Ivy says, such things transcend any of the discourse on here. Sincere condolences.

Re. Moditope - didn't our Prof. call it a 'serendipity' moment in 2012 ?

I was encouraged by Bermuda's earlier comment that recruitment for the Modi1 trial is likely to be much easier than recruitment for then SCIB1 Combo, which let's let's face it has been 'slow' (wink).
