Starting to feel like a locked up mushroom in the dark. They need to report Q4 results, they need to confirm they have a full workforce back in operation, they need to provide guidance on 2021 production, they need to guide us when resources and reserves will be properly updated. They need to give dividend guidance for 2021 and update mine development plans. We are owed a ton of news and somebody needs to make the effort and start communicating with investors. We should not have to wait for a proactive investor presentation to be given at the end of the month. They also need to do something about a 7% price gap between sell and buy as its killing the daily trading volumes.

Looks like Trump has wrecked the chances of the incumbent Georgia senator.

Democrats leading to close to call second Senator race by around 13,000 votes.

Looks good for oil company stocks.

Millie your right about Polar's strategy. I note Polar supports Medtronic which is very active on the cardiac devices. Interesting they were into Tesla many months back and must have earned quite a bit on that stock for their clients. They clearly have a lot of faith in Synairgen. Most of the companies they have gone for have innovative quality people. They seek out the eagles instead of dogs if you know what I mean.

Tullow bonds go up so we had a buyer at lunch time there. So my bet is that Les is doing a debt rollover deal.

Serious gaps do exist in the chart. They can take a long time to get back filled. Small gaps say 0.4p can remain as buy and sell differences and be ignored. They do not always back fill in the AIM market as we do get major growth spikes. I am of the view that it could back fill this month but equally I could be proved totally wrong. I am likely to retire from stock investing this year and hopefully get my way of buying a second country house away from London. This has made me think shorter term as I tidy up and reduce my portfolio in the coming months as I want to live differently. Being in lockdown is very handy to trade and invest in stocks and shares, however it encourages a pent up demand on what you may want to do when its all over. Hence you all know my bias. It has been trading in a wide range from 25-35p for some time. It was inevitable that the RBL drama may weigh down the stock a bit during January and keep us below 35p. However, the USA Senate result tomorrow or Wednesday is rather important as Biden has an easy run on stimulus or its one argument after another with lots of delays and compromise with a Republican Senate. A big stimulus to be delivered after inauguration is good for oil prices and little stimulus is quite possibly not good news for Tullow. So whatever the Steve's or anyone plans to do whether sell or buy they may want to act either before or after the Senate election news.

Whatever we decide here is not a cause for someone's gain or loss and its naïve to think it does with x million shares traded everyday. If you have a plan and have the courage to take gains and losses its all part of investing or speculating. Also we all get frustrated when something we expect ought to happen and its the opposite and we feel we got done over and ripped off by the market maker of some instructional fund player playing bull traps with PIs. We have all been there at sometime or another. Usually a beer in the evening helps.

As for oil prices in Q4 would anybody like to take a guess. How many of us want two exotic holidays to make up for all the lockdown time and could not careless how expensive the plain ticket is as long as we can get one. Although a lot of people have financial difficulty we have others who have spent a fraction of what they do normally as the eat in and see endless TV repeats and peak of excitement is the weekly grocery shop compared to the heavy socialising they did before. I also expect delivery drivers (5th emergency service) having a field day in the lock down, especially those delivering crates of wine. All the best Tony

It was interesting how he believed the AstraZeneca vaccine development protocols supported greater flexibility on when to give a second booster. It appears for a number of patient groups a later booster gives a stronger efficacy response with the caveat that it would be helpful to continue it being monitored where delayed boosters may be given. This is completely different to the messaging we got over the weekend that vaccines could be switched or that the Pfizer vaccine could be delayed against what the company was strongly advising for the roll out. I also suspect those who were previously infected by Covid-19 may also get by with a one shot jab or at least have a much delayed second one. If only they had Prof Hunter communicating the message out on Saturday it would have avoided a lot of confused messaging to our busy NHS doctors. Hopefully they will finish the double dosing on Pfizer vaccine as planned and run with the greater flexibility with the AstraZeneca vaccine although the logistics (hopefully involving the military medical cores and logistics experts and IT )can manage it all well.

SA Mutation- I would encourage the company as well as the NHS to target beta interferon nebuliser being given to anyone who has the SA mutation if necessary as a completely separate exercise. The SA mutation is a possible threat to vaccine success and hitting everything therapeutically available to anyone identified as having the variant to suppress the virus could be extremely helpful. The purpose of giving the product is to hammer the daylights out of transmission. It may be a different dose to those getting oxygen but it is something they could seriously think about. Happy for anyone well connected to pass it on if they agree the idea has merit.

Finally Boris got a boundary in cricket terms. Messaging was crystal clear, showed leadership and described the management of a process and properly set out the caveats. Maybe there is hope for him yet.

158p is the 100 day mean day SP average. Its a useful and interesting place to be in the chart. Resistance lines that could require heavy buying to get through are at 169p and 174p. There is also weaker resistance line at 166p that was not broken through on the 15 minute time frame. Important news would have to drive the share over the 174p level imop. Support line has moved up to 143p. It appears to be moving up at a rate of 1-2p per trading day. The share has a wide range to work in for the next week or so. Overall its not a clear cut picture at the present time and perhaps things will tidy up as the week progresses.

I suspect tonight is about the mess he has made with schools. Across USA and Europe schools are closing and of course Scotland confirmed their stance a few hours ago. Last night I heard how Latvia shut all its schools to prevent further cases of Covid-19 arriving into paediatric wards although I suspect most of the transmission came from parental contact and not from being in a school facility. In USA there is map of every district which is now shutting schools all coloured red which includes most of the Midwest and California. Its really sad that we do not have a proper leader who just relies on hope rather than a prepared plan with a methodology that bests uses human resources. I realise it a hard call to make,but when so many other governments are forced to make the same decisions you would think somebody would have a clue of what was coming down a train track and gave the communities and families out there a chance to plan appropriately.

As I woke up this morning and switched on the news, I asked myself is there any intelligent life running this country at all. Can anybody put together a comprehensive risk assessment plans that have joined up thinking. Does anybody at the top properly communicate with resources that provide advanced or current intelligence. Does anyone having any understanding on the science that facilitates viral mutation and that we are led by people who are scientifically plain stupid. Do we have just a bunch of yes men puppets bowing to one person without the prescribed intellect to manage conflicting issues and interests and prioritising on a logical basis that everybody can understand and work alongside with.

The capacity restraints of not having the appropriate people to do mass vaccination is of course is to be thwarted in the public sector and I wonder is it to allow delivery by the private sector via contracts to go and do it and to mess up as they have done on everything else in this pandemic.

On top of all this, I sit with many on this board scribing how there is a likely solution available with the beta interferon nebuliser from Synairgen yet we have an insurmountable pile of ignorance in all quarters to get through. If the powers to be could make the emergency use authorisation procedure we would soon free up a huge amount of hospital space. Its a shame nobody has the personal courage to make a decision like that. Instead they just pass the buck to some priveledged idiot at the top of the pile.

I have done well. The 40% sold out on in September was completely recovered from investments and trades with other shares. Tullow never reached my breakeven average so that worked out okay. My portfolio is a lot more balanced as I also sold out from Shell with a profit. Despite everything it another winning year heading for 8 in a row.

Currently 29.3p and I predicted lunch time close on 28.4p. Next month is a different ball game. That is when forward looking projections come into play.

Makes you feel unwell when this company has a product that may have saved two plane loads at least in the UK today. I despair with the leadership of this country. A politician what are they good for nothing.

This is a long chart analysis with loads of caveats and not to be taken seriously.

I believe another triangle and pennant formation has started and yesterday was the big flagpole rise. The support line at 68.5p as of today is at 72.1p. It will continue to climb and reach 84p on 29th January if it decides to create the same pattern we saw from early October. The chart has a gap on the UK market side to 91.5p and Pensana has so far always back filled charts above 0.2p on the share price since it came on the LSE. How it will move between 72p to 122p is quite a large area is currently generous. We know what the incline rate is (0.6p/day), but we do not have a decline rate. If we took a theoretical 1.8p decline rate per day the convergence is at 84p with a massive breakout on 29 January. The new peak is likely to be 30p higher on the 122p peak on an intra-day basis of 152p, but close around 142p if it behaves the same way. This is my prediction for the BFS that it posts around 29th January and the closing price is near 142p on the sell side.
