I suspect UK government help is likely to be with the planning permissions, regulations, information supporting business plans and a lot of intangibles. A heavily in debted UK government is not going to have a lot of cash around but they can give good references to banks and hedge funds. I suspect a significant placing is likely to happen and that is when institutional buyers appear. As for a placing price, it would need to be attractive on the return for all the risk as everything has to be built including a mine in Angola.

On the major support. Company is earning $630 an ounce as a minima. Profit of $52M a year say its $26M after tax etc. So a company now valued at £135M with profit at say £18M this year. The first £3M plus was banked already on the 45/55% production split. Now valued at in the ground unmined price plus cash. Taking reserve ounce at $100 and resource ounce at $30. We should get JORC conversion figures in Q2. On fundamentals seriously undervalued and on technical chart oversold.

First of all the GDX is on 15 year support line as I write and at the moment its holding.

Regarding CEY, yes on six monthly chart CD but on 3 months both follow same paths down.

Shanta and Centamin have followed a similar path down with the GDX chart for the past 3 months. Whatever is going is not company specific.

AAZ retreat is in line with other junior precious metal miners. A slight out performance in the pull back is being averaged off to the mean against the other juniors today. Other juniors are seriously oversold and eventually AAZ will be in the same technical position. A number of analysts have egg on their face as hardly anybody saw a pull back as deep and long as this. The honest answer is nobody knows what is going to happen next. A lot of us are seeing through it as its hard to find anywhere safe to invest. AAZ is trading 10PE area and will just follow whatever with gold prices. Of course the gold drop in other currencies is greater and more people will try and buy physical if the premiums become more sensible (many have gold at $1950 equivalent for bars). This may help form a bottom on gold if the FED chooses not to rig the market again.

I do not know what changed the direction in the chart. It could be for example a large seller managing their portfolio as they come to the end of the financial year as they work through staff bonus payments and the like and have nothing to do with Synairgen performance. It appears the seller has approached exhaustion driving the stock down if that was the case and we may finally close out from a downtrend. If that is the case a new support line gets created and a confirmation for it may emerge over the next week if the SP can slowly move to 180p. If this does not happen we could have no chart patterns to assess and just have choppy trading. Tony

Yes its 0.1p or £100 divi for every 100,000 shares which is 0.7% return. Better than high street bank rate at the present time but below any method calculating inflation but it was nothing before.

I can confirm from the results that in the ground gold value was $152M plus $38M in the bank= $190M =£135M so everything else like having production plant and fleet etc is barely valued at £10M. At $1700 gold price average the company after tax should exceed 2020 performance.

My final comment is that the company has many parallels with AAZ except they have less gold but have copper and silver making up the difference. The effective PE after all tax is 10 PE.

I should have also mentioned it has traded below the bolllinger bands two days running on the weekly, monthly and 3 monthly chart. Its quite bombed out here.

The monthly slow stochastics is just off zero. and weekly is like 1. I have never owned centamin shares on such a low slow stochastic ( scores between 0 and 100). These shares are so oversold on stochastics the weekly and monthly indicators its incredible.

It still needs to find 4 to 5 pence to fully escape from the down channel that may have now bottomed. The alternative is staying around 172p for a couple of more days.

Only how I see it at the present time and so please regard as just an opinion.
The monthly chart suggests Pensana has run ahead of itself and the stock price often corrects when it does so. The bottom appears to be around the 104-114p range. The daily chart also suggesting that volume in the short term has peaked. If we do get a pullback it allows new buyer strength later to deliver a higher monthly peak price in April. Pensana has behaved this way since its launch last July and everyone can see it in a monthly chart profile. I mention this as a possible pattern and not to be surprised if it materialises over the coming two weeks. Tony

5 hourly RSI on 18. I can not get over how platinum is also falling and that is a huge red flag for just about everything in the equity market.

I have closed my Tullow position. Planning to quit the equity game later in the year. So far I am 67% off market overall. Closing out one of my best year's results despite not making the best decisions on Tullow. I am running with just a handful of investments and have target exits on all those. Its a cheerio from me on this board and all the best with all your investments.

I should also add it trades just over in the ground value with no plant, cash in bank and a forward quarter of earnings. All other assets are valued at nothing.
