Centamin has a support line going back to May 2019 on the weekly chart. The weekly support line bottom is around 105-106p area on a weekly close price. The support line generally ascends 1p per month. A share price offered at any time below the weekly close price is a very strong buy. The dividend next month takes off 2p on the current SP so I would consider 107-108p area as being on that support in the meantime. The point I am making is any current retreat does not have a lot of scope. Centamin needed to go to high 120's and to have a slower more prolonged drop and instead the rise was limited and the pull back has been to quick imop.

Both require patience and both appear to be setting up strong charts as they establish good solid support lines. I have more precise data on Pensana and Rainbow has a tendency to piggy back.

A major triangle formation is in play on the technical chart. This occurred before when Pensana was in the 67p to 90p range and I gave a forecast to 142p that was achieved. The current triangle formation completes in 22 trading days. The Pensana chart has very strong support in the 140's and the base will move to 152p sell side support. The descending triangle line is from 204p and is currently at 173p. This line will descending to mid 150's and the merge point is 152p-153p area. I forecast major news in the last week of May. The pattern is generally bullish. If I am correct then the share price may well be bid up to 225p-230p area. I will keep an eye on this pattern. It does depend closing prices above 148p for the time being. I am sharing what I see in the charts and of course they have their limitations.

Lets assume for a moment that the Burundi Government want to challenge assay results. If third party sources do the measurements for Rainbow and a Government lab does the assays tests say at a University, there is every chance the results will be different if one source has superior equipment, has greater skills and experience doing such work compared to a novice doing the tests for the first time. A lot of lab people will be discussing quality control processes, recovery analysis and working through standard operating procedures. It may well take awhile before both labs deliver the same quality of results. Publishing an RNS while that is on-going could be embarrassing to the learning laboratory test facility. I am not saying this is what has happened, but its an example of an RNS statement of what is happening makes certain people defensive rather than open about their analysis and being up to the standard of doing checks correctly.

I would say this asset represents 84% of the company future earnings where as Burundi asset generates around 16%.

Hi Mickey mouse. (Got out at 1608 as I wanted to divi dodge Polymetal). Failed to break resistance in the 1630's and decided to take bank when it was struggling to get back up. Polymetal is absolutely fine for long term holders.

I am considering a return buy in after booking my first profit for the new financial year. I will see how it goes overnight on gold. A lot of gold miners I hold for investment but I decided to trade Polymetal as FTSE 100 has really good liquidity

The juniors like AAZ and Shanta pulled back yesterday. Polymetal and Centamin pullback today as juniors park up. So nearly all in the same place as last week relative to each other. I am not sure where it goes from here. It might be an Indian market jewellery closure effect and is temporary. The Chinese market is buying physical with upward premium pressure and that is keeping the gold price up to a degree. Western markets are eyeing inflation risk. Could profit taking also account for the last two days on gold miners and some renewed buying then comes in on the retreat thus far. Interesting to see how it goes for the rest of the week.

I am sure many of you will notice that Rainbow at the current price is on a rising support line from last year and is currently establishing a higher low. If we can hold the current price and slowly edge up, the rising channel that has been in play for many months then holds.

Its my biggest ISA play. I banked a lot on Pensana last year and have opened a new position in a new year on it. Also rebuilding positions over time outside of the ISA as well. I have moved from the trader position to now investor and will ride with the story. I understand what the company are doing a lot better and happy to keep it. My target is 750p. It will help offset some of the future inflation coming down the pipeline. For those in at 150-170p do not worry and remember to buy the dips and regard them as gifts.

My message about the rainy weather and season is not a deramp. The company mentioned this in an RNS back in February that no exploration would be done with the onset of rains. Therefore this export suspension has no impact on the exploration side. I suspect a conversation has to be run through on what is involved in upstream processing which many others have said here is financially desirably, but whether it is practical and whether institutional investors would back it is another matter.

The processing facility that will be constructed at Saltend in Hull will be able to receive feedstock from other rare earth miners to process by 2024/2025. In that interview it was mentioned that China are urbanising which increases electrical usage by 2030 by 230%. The Chinese will not have the capacity to either export rare earths or any processed final product in the future. The construction of their 9 major cities with populations the size of Germany will come on line. Whether Burundi has a fund like Angola Government had to be a partner in a full cycle process possibly goes beyond what Rainbow Rare sources currently sits. I am sure the company would like to add additional value, but it could not be built in a sensible time frame in Burundi imop. If they got money from the World Bank, USA would call all the shots as to where end products went and it would need to be tightly managed and Burundi Government would have to make clear their tax take etcetera.

Funding date is in a few months.

Building is throughout 2022.
Commissioning is finalised during 2023.

I felt better and then bought some more shares.

Its heavy rain in Burundi and no further exploration work is planned until H2.

Time to ring them up and ask what is going on.

Getting past a lower high formation which is around 147-151p. Once formed and we get some positive news this will help with the next up-leg. One possibility that is in the chart structure. All bets are off on closing price below 146p on that reading. The market in general is pausing. Different bitcoins appear to be disrupting the market. I wish trading in bitcoin was removed from stock exchanges as all it is a bet on direction of price with no transparency on what is going on.

If it continues to drop, I will rebuy what I sold and get a shot at second dippings later in the year on those shares. I am now glad I took a little bit off the table although the original purpose was to rebalance the portfolio.

AAZ is plus 25% or so a copper miner.

With the VAT issue likely to get resolved at some point, I am surprised that the pull back is so much. On top of that more resource ounces to be announced on previous drill results.
