One thing I do believe AA are awash with cash right now a very healthy share price and commodity cycle looks strong that goes a long way. It may mean the team in talks with ARCM have been told right you have XXXX amount to do a deal.

nicks not stupid if he even suspected they are not 100% he may have done the placing to secure funds KNOWING the damage to the share price if Anglo walk away.

So has he raised now while they are still having a chin wag but ultimately suspects theyre not 100%

maybe and agree extension is better than ending exclusive talks!

That said if they were astounded by what they saw wouldnt they have advanced to a deal before now.

Comparisons with GGP (some here) they were much faster to conclude if I remember

on the surface it looks good but merely extending talks does not mean a deal is forth coming its still a 50:50 outcome all AAL have done is lock into exclusivity a bit longer.
