We need to show compassion and respect to everyone. The Sami need to also accept times change

AND just as important they are herders/farmers

You only need to look and see how sheep farming essentially shaped changed or destroyed the uplands of Britain and Scotland

Depending how you see it.

I started out farming a family farm so I have a right to that opinion. I'm a great believer in rewilding as hard as that may be for some upland farmers.

But plans for a series of bridges over roads and railways in Sweden could help the Sami and their herds migrate freely again. Up to a dozen ‘renoducts’ (reindeer viaducts) are proposed, with work on the first one – over the E4 near the city of Umeå – due to start this summer.
