It would be strange to have the POD cast tomorrow without the Q4 update issued prior and as a courtesy to Canadian Investors - you would think they should issue latest today so that they have a chance to review before the meeting/Q&A

Bearing in mind the proactive interview on the 24th - i thought it was odds on that we got a Q4 update today except i think it’s a public holiday in Canada today - so I’ve change my odds on bet for

There’s not many excuses for issueing a Q4 update this late bearing in mind many Canadian Companies have already or are about to issue full Q4 financials - I3E is only an update!!

Let’s hope the reason for the late update is evident and its good !

I did manage to figure out that investing in Coal Fire Power Plants in Africa with a Chinese Partner - is probably not a great idea and we’ll worth a miss - perhaps less attention to grammar and more to a bit of common sense might improve investment returns me thinks.

GGG - I recall you also asking the question where the H2 dividend went a month or two back - how come you’ve got so smart all of a sudden ?

Your getting your share - it appears you are a little confused on how and when the dividends are paid out that’s all.

It was debated at some length here a few weeks ago - I think most were convinced that they were not getting diddled although there appeared to be a few sceptics.

I’m happy to try to explain again if you are genuinely concerned that I3E are trying to screw you out of a dividend.

There is no missing dividend - I think your just trying to wind Graham up.

I’m not saying that - someone asked what I3E’s break even was - which is normally the minimum oil price required to pay all its day to day bills which would exclude dividends and comes out to about $31 by my calculation - above this I3E start earning FCF to fund discretionary spend such as Capex and Dividends. $31 I think is quite good and demonstrates that I3E could operate quite successfully in a low price environment albeit paying out much small dividends in this scenario.

and to answer the previous question on i3e's breakeven (assuming gas at $2.60), then break even is about $31 per bbl.

with G&A, Maintenance Capex , Abandonment & some finance charges covered - no money left for a dividend.

The question was what was break even not the “remarkable opex cost” which is in fact not all that remarkable.

On top of opex you need to account for G&A , finance and maintenance costs In. Order to arrive at a break even.

Where did you get the $65 from ??? According to this article - break even should be around $35.

email them - tell them that your not happy with monthly dividends because you dont understand the rationale and the additional cost and tell them you would would rather have quarterly or bi-monthly!

I’ve seen it before - I think it was originally highlighted by Redmires on twitter in November - I3E we’re asked about it and their response was “we have not applied for an OTC listing” also in November. If they were OTC listed they would have had to inform the market. Another indicator that they are not listed is the volume - whatever it is, it indicated tiny volume.

We don’t have an OTC listing so if some one knows about it then we’re living in the 4th dimension! Typical that some are criticizing Management for a crime they haven't committed! Anyway a nice close today considering we have been down all day - onwards and upwards!

Not sure how anyone can say solid but underwhelming - no mention of North Sea. This was clearly stated as an update on the 2022 Capital Budget - why would there be a mention of Serenity. I think it’s clear that the Q4 update is still to come. I would have thought they would have issued this already - perhaps they have held this back and published the capital budget update instead to placate shareholders?

With regards to the dividends - I would be insulted if it wasn't so laughable - you've got it wrong its that simple ! I dont mind be challenged but please get it right ! My agenda is keeping it real, sticking to the facts and correcting posters when they are posting rubbish about ie3 and the Management.

If you want to educate me - make sure you understand the issues first !
