You are free to say what ever you want and I think you have already said enough to indicate that you are not as clued up as you think you are.
I overstated Wressels production - as per last presentation it is 300 bopd - not bad and pays the bills.
However, as a reference i3e has about 20,000 boepd and a forecast FCF of over $100m - that said, it still sought partners to develop Serenity so that on an all weather basis, it had a robust business plan and not over extend itself on any one project.
You think that with production of 300 bopd (ok double it 600) that eog could self fund Serenity or development of its Irish Sea Gas assests - nuts - absolutely f-c-ing nuts. And remember - this is with oil at around $90 per bbl. Have a look what things look like at $80 or $70 per bbl. EOG has no scale - in a down turn - the situation would look decidedly shaky.
You may say one dimensional - I say head in the clouds - you've not looked at the numbers.
