I suppose the thing to remember Colour is whilst it always takes a while for the news of new contracts to be published, each one is getting bigger and better. With existing contracts capable of expanding at 4m units per Utility, say 10m total and Intellismart offering possibly the same then 20m units to start with is reasonable.

Block listings are a pain but relatively small and few and far.
The report I am waiting for Colour is Intellismart, you know the one Trilliant's involved with.
Hardman referred to 2 possibilities there, Retrofit some existing meters and big new contracts.
JC further has referred to Millions at a time contracts, do you know anything about these, don't suppose so.

Thailand (MEA) has probably now finished the pilot. JC said PEA is showing an interest and that's 5 X size of PEA.
If INDORE and JVVNL puts in further orders it should be a good Christmas. Just to break the boredom.

Hi jake, no I think it is the same old storey, we just get too longer gap between information. CC probably can't do anything about it but it does tend to create a drift in SP, it then bounces back on next solid statement. If CC led the pack it may be a better SP build but we are sub contractors.
Thinking on previous contracts figures of 1m units = £20m. and whilst allowing for every contract (possibly volume) to be different I think 10m unit orders could see us between 50p to 100p.

Hello Bordersman.. All companies are different, I think SMS are more into meters, CC only came into UK after taking over Connode who had the 'notspots'. So SMS is mainly the meter element. CC advantage with Connode was picking up IPv6 which in hindsight was worth the expense alone. Also these companies had a lot more asset backup from start.
I would not be surprised if CC achieved 800% from a 30p starting point.
As I see the SM roll out in India it has nothing to do with logic. It consists of a lot of independent states where the main Government only has part control. May be with Climate problems it will now pick up the pace.

Hi Bordersman.. I think Cyan's main interest was India for volume. Connode won SMETS2 'notspots' in UK so on combining CC also had IPv6 (important), UK, Connodes parts of Europe. With SEW it looks like expansion is being sought but India, Thailand and Africa still most dominant.

Hello Colour, quite impressive.. You have mentioned Wirepas before. Are they a big company like Intel for instance.
My reasoning is they will need to be capable of mass production in India. I don't think they make meters though.
The most important question is how many contracts in India for Smart Meters do Wirepas have bearing in mind the obstacles CC faced obtaining all the approvals needed.
There is room for more than one Smart Comms in India so how far have they progressed, useful to know.

Hello Bordersman.. I must admit I would be flying a kite if I said I knew anything about opposition. Just perhaps Colour may have an insight. I think INDORE success has put CC firmly in the lead at present. Whereas India likes to have 3 quotes from meter manufacturers it would appear that same Comms can be in all makes. CC has proved itself but equally I think others may have failed. If CC hold all the existing contracts to their full customer base numbers that is probably a good 10m units.

Hello LTI.. An assortment of comments there. I feel the impression created with INDORE could see much more involvement of that system, using the Gateways and Feeders links. Unless I misunderstand, it reads to me a complete connection between Residence and Utility Control Room working at 99%+ efficiency.
It would be interesting to know if CC are planning any R&D to link Utilities to Generator Stations, providing Comms from beginning to end of energy chain. May not be their field.

Just been looking at an old video which may prove interesting to new lookers.
We have got to the stage of 'all systems go' and only one year behind the 2020.
We did have one cash call but that was for expansion.
Everything drags on in India but this is the best ever yet and can only build.

It will be interesting to see what unfolds this week.
We have currently, JVVNL, INDORE, MYSORE, UNNAMED NORTHERN/SOUTHERN COMTRACTS, THAILAND plus others.
If these are sticky I think they could develop to 10m units plus contracts.
Then we have EESL/Intellismart with what could be 50m units and beyond.
Could make 50p by 31/3 if not a lot sooner.

Yes looks like Intellismart have been successful. As they are now in dialogue with CC and JC said we are being considered for further orders as well as the correction order for 3m units (I think) then things are looking pretty rosy.
Of the 11m units being bid for generally I think CC stand to get 3m as they are in the main makers meters.
Reading another BB there seems to be a question about OPEX payments. As I understand it's an arrangement where Utilities get free implementation and pay back over a period of time and in the case of CC we get paid immediately and our long term further earnings are maintenance, is that as you see it.

CC is basically springing to life because it now has the right gear through R&D, but also possibly because other contractors have let Intellismart down and of course INDORE has outshone competition.

Don't go back to stirring Colour. Face it CC shares have taken off and it's because CC is now becoming valuable to India.
All of your RF is a waste of time and not wanted proved to be totally wrong.
INDORE appears to be the biggest showcase in India and EESL/Intellismart now have CC working for them.
It will be interesting to see details of ASSAM rollout and any CC connection.

Well Colour it could that it was a quick opening ceremony with Covid, even your lot didn't know about its creation otherwise I'm sure you would have highlighted it, good or bad.
I did know he was flying out there but I think this was kept a big secret so could be very important to CC's position.

Well jake if it was a shakeout then well played by dealers. Can't say massive volumes.
Another time no SP movement. To me it's the dealers plus the magic 30 of consolidation, then panic.
We have not heard any news so sentiment, held off yesterday but now is the time.

Still in strong anticipation I wonder if today will take us past 30p and towards 35p.
