Just read the latest Hardman report (Feb22). Still conservative, rightly so, but brings in a value of 40p+.
Calculating on 15% of India's 250m units. I feel that CC will get a lot more than that.
Still see an early push of £1 to £2 SP. Only my thoughts.

My view is that JC is lining up the skittles for CC and this last bit of patience will pay off very soon and massively..

You do take a gloomy approach Colour. CC were probably lucky to get an additional supply of IoT electronics.
I got the feeling SS wanted access to India.
My only concern is they are active in takeovers.

Interesting company Solid State, LTI. Looking at their chart and figures a big jump during 2021. On their total shares about 350p to ours. They have made a lot of acquisitions for a small company but the right territory.
We could use their contacts especially if as I suspect India gets well underway with Smart Meters/Iot.

I am pleased you agree Colour.. Only problem is you thought exactly the same way and said villages were satisfied with a lightbulb. Disagreed with me when I said they would quickly want more than just basics. They can now see the World via TV not just their village. I think you will find that CHIPS were cheap all round the World then.
As these new components are to be for IoT there must be a lot of interest for that CC capability.
I feel JC is preparing for a massive takeoff.

As suspected you had not thought this out before mouthing off.
You do not know what JC got for his money or what he needed.
This could have been just what was wanted but you don't know or care.
Pennies, in a previous time he did say about his modules that he would like to give them away.

I only go on what I read. Chips have gone up considerably but we don't know by exactly how much, mores the point is their availability. I have read that the scarcity will only run this year. Before all this you will remember JC said they were only pennies. There is a lot more to Meters/Gateways regarding electronics as you have seen previously.
So where did you get the numbers to evaluate the unit worth of the $2.1m contract. What do you know/ not know of CC's existing reserves/purchases to think this is not a safe guard move. You are generalising without facts as you have accused others.

They are not supplying meters just a little bit of it.
Unless of course you know otherwise this contract might fit a million meters.
Also this is an additional supplier, so CC may have millions of units in reserve.
Research before you give unfounded opinions. Again of course you may know otherwise.

jake. we'll leave at that but you did say with your wheeler dealing of CC you had made money, hence you were happy.
If you only want to see CC rise why knock and not keep shtum.
With this £5m income arriving/ if not already, I think CC is in a good position to move forward.

Not convinced jake, you said CC tucked away for grandchildren but you did not say 'and not in play' and have already said you are selling and buying them and have gained as a result, so you must be ramping. Now that is simple.
In the matter of timing, you will have surely noticed that JC went to the bother of filling the whole screen with the tendering time scale, so if it takes longer than 9 months then Colour will know not to bother saying CC is not getting any contracts which could take upwards of a year. Now do you get my logic of creating lookout dates, so may not be on time and we may not get but at present the door is open for Colour to say we are not in the running, which we know we are.

Hello LTI.. I agree there are no fixed time lines but JC has indicated that there are minmum times as his schedule.
So when bids are opened there is now an estimated minimum time to declaration and as time are so far off then you would get better understanding of involvement rather than a certain party no contracts for last 9 months etc.
My suggestion is say: look out on 12th Feb, 1st March etc. The alternative is nothing, a void.
Colour small companies have base investors, including Funds, who hang in but also many small investors and floaters, so this BB does have influence. As you say the company is small.
jac, you have previously said you sell and buy CC, and have not lost out yet, ergo you are ramping, LOL, don't avoid it.

Exactly jake you summed it up, whilst you say you are not trying to drive SP down you are trying, that is your purpose, definitely not negative for you. Suits you not the rest.
Your holding will never drop, why because you are trying desperately to create dips before SP shoots away.

Admittedly everything seems to take a long time for CC. It would be nice if JC after telling us the lengthy process gave us look out dates of possible news (not detailed). It would be stimulating, of course a certain person would be banging the drum 'where is it, I told you, I told you' but I could live with that to maintain the SP.
Existing holders know we are about to break cover and the drive is on.

I turn my back and you are at it again you two. Anil's were six months ago when he was at the other company, he was not going to rubbish them was he, however he came straight back to CC. Given those comments why jump back.
Having seen the time scale JC published why expect contracts in between, they should arrive soon. Colour during that 9 months who else involving Comms has revealed a contract.
I have already covered 'hold them, fold them' 6 months back jake, you are still trying to drill the price down, be surprised if it works with so much just waiting to come out. In India who else meets the Smart Comms requirement, there are great possibilities out of the 250m units for CC. Different with volume but previous contracts were 1m units = £20m.

LTI, thanks for your Fri 11:36. Informative presentation esp the elongated time scale to pitch a tender. Makes sense of 9 months time delay Colour refers to. Some of these should soon be emerging from the other end of the tunnel.

Well although it does not fit your view my thoughts that CC is last in pecking order in UK matches your Zero.
I still direct you to Connode, CC got IPv6 as a result buying them. JC took UK as park of package, he may have paid a bit over the top eventually but probably would still had to be generous without UK and may well not have got a deal.
To me bottom line is without IPv6 Cyan would have folded but with it we are here and in the lead.
Many companies take risks and chance loss leaders, I don't think SMETS2 will be a loss and return capital if nothing else.
That's share for you. Main thing is India I believe is going to pay off well.

Well Colour JC touched on SMETS2 and no doubt will give further update.
It will be interesting to know where CC stands in UK.
In the meantime back to India, do you think CC with all that is going on stands little chance of making inroads.
Anil goes and within such a short time is back, as you say 2nd go round but equally I suggest he sees CC as the leader of Smart Comms in India and may well be the Standard for future Smart Meters.
Even if not could possibly get 50% of the 250m units having 99.50 efficiency rating.
What is your opinion.

Hello Colour, I like others I investigate my holdings and buy and sell.
You are moaning lets face it. You are here to make a profit I presume so just get on with it.
Now as JC would say, that is an excellent question, are you here to make money.
On this a simple yes or no will do, don't flap around with UK etc .. Yes or No.
This will determine view of CC.
