Hello Colour.. Should we be lucky enough to get these monthly large orders then the 3rd option comes into play.
Licensing, if JC gets this underway with the 3 majors then the costs will not be there and numbers can develop at whatever monthly pace dictated by Manufacturer. It would be a good achievement by JC especially as at present these produce 50% of India's meters.

Wirepas would have to use 865 as I understand 1.9 is not recognised in India.

I understand that part of the regs is to be IPv6 full not just compatible.

jake I think we should do the honourable thing and stop boring. I will try to do no more than 2 or less a week unless we have cause to celebrate.
In closing I would say JC's information is in public domain but Colour does not believe it's validity, so why yours, how ever we will find out soon enough. CC is fully compliant with end to end solutions that we know. As you are more technical could you find out if Wirepas's reference to IPv6 use is non-standard (just connectable). It makes a difference I understand.

Hello jake/Colour.. that was a lengthy speech from jake, I don't think the pair of you appreciate that this is an AIM company and holders are on here with a view to a bit of risk with may be a big bit of profit. jake quotes facts but are they accurate or PR manipulated; for instance is Wirepas fully IPv6 or just compatible, I understand there is a difference. Will Wirepas pass these landmark requirements of GoI, CC say it meets all of the regulations so I presume we will pass with flying colours.
jake if you look at the SP movement you will see that it takes place on small numbers 30000 here 50000 there, these are not big Funds 1m at a time. The only large amount recently is S.Chari (a buy). CC has 230m shares in play, not a lot, so why the SP movement at times; answer small players, now do you get it. So small/sells create large percentage movements. DYOR

Trouble is jake I start watching these links which presume is not what you intended.
I know that Colour is just out to be negative about CC which I do not think is working He has criticised JC for not producing contracts for the last 9 months but nobody else in India has done so either because of the GoI holdup until March, however now that he knows that he does apologise to JC.
You on the other hand just pile in behind him, dig out what you consider facts, publish them, sit back and wait for to him use to try to knock SP. Only my thoughts but you appear repetitive to me.
Bottom line is to get GoI funding they must meet all of the regulative requirements, numbers over the years.
It will all appear in March, at least we know CC conform.

I do not see the point of having a balanced view, basically we want to know if CC is doing OK. If not then pull out.
Whilst I like to look for the extremes of orders and profits being a shareholder and think of ways that CC can speed up their installations I recognise that JC has conservatively estimated an order book of 15%. I am looking beyond that figure but should it turn out to be that, 250m units @ 15% = 37.5m units X £20m = £750m that will not be too bad.
That's just India. Do we know how many staff Wirepas has in India or do they just farm it out for other companies to provide HES etc. Before you and Colour I had not heard of them, not like Itron etc.

Colour, 2000-3000 installs daily, of course they are going to press on if they think they can repair fault (using CC) j0ust like SMETS1, that did not stop.

Morning all..
Do not know why we get into this desperate situation of 'looking over your shoulder' every time CC is about to move on.
Primarily it is one element saying 'wow is me' whilst I am saying we will get a large chunk if not the lot.
In the middle of all this JC is estimating about 15% and of 37 units that's about 5m units and on previous ratio of £20m equals £110m. Those figures may not apply with mass.
To me CC is in a good position.

Hello jac.. is the 1.9 RF that Wirepas deal elsewhere a free band or costly.
Regarding the 3m unit contract mentioned, do we know if it is the total issued to all contractors in India or just Wirepas.
We know how many installs CC has achieved, do we know Wirepas installs in India, what is the situation.
Do Wirepas need Gateways or not, chart looked like needed.
If so CC is in roughly the same position in capability and if leasing to the majors will not have competition I presume unless they lease others, unlikely I think, CC works for their requirements.

Well Colour I do not know why Anil departed from CC but I think you were praising his comments at BCITS. It does not enter your consideration that he may have found some flaw with Wirepas's system that he could not progress with in India after praising their system, so jak you can be right and then wrong. That is why I asked Colour how many contracts Wirepas has won in India, it was not a wasted question but he did not know.
I want CC to profit therefore I was trying to find out from him the current score with Wirepas, I don't think they manufacture meters so just supply Comms or may be only part Comms (not HES). He or you may know.
It would be nice to know what their success rate is in India compared to CC's 1m units.

Spot on jak.. CEO's tend to talk up their new company, thought Wirepas was not supposed to be 'own private network'. Why do you think Anil rejoined CC after just a few months, may be found something his monologue could not justify.
Colour JC has a reputation, possibly not with you, he seems to be doing well with INDORE, JVVNL etc etc and the 1m units I mentioned has already been covered in video on these contracts. Cannot see any about Wirepas.
jak why do you think Anil jump ship and rejoined CC if there was so much going for him.
You must have some opinion for his complete turnaround.

Morning Colour. Evasive as usual, if you knew something you would now be responding but you are not.
At present CC has a million units under contract, I cannot see same for Wirepas. India has made a decision to adjudicate a new rule in a few weeks time and all will be known.
I feel for sure CC will pass the test and if big orders are then issued we should get a good size.

Well Colour I could reverse the suggestion and say tell us the current situation with Wirepas in India, what are their running contracts, numbers of units, what are they tendering for, how their costs compare, are they manufacturers or software only so have to look for partners.
Simple questions.

I suppose we small have to wait until March to see who survives.
I think Anil saw a chink in the Wirepas armour after praising them so highly and abandon ship.
Are they only on 1.9 and do they only use RF, can they do Cellular, are they only 5G or can they do more.
Have they got all the Indian certifications, was any existing work obtain before any certification changes.
What Indian contracts are they already progressing, this would give an indication of any successes and if they can they meet current requirements. At this time (March) that is really all that matters.
