So Colour you think that CC stands no chance in India or Thailand of getting a decent order. Well I think you are wrong but you have convinced yourself that you cannot be wrong. Why are you on here, not very share astute, no just to knock CC.
We took over UK from Connode who were only there for 'notspots' so money is spent, there was a delay, so we wait for our turn in queue. I know of one person who has been waiting a long time for smart, I wonder why when they are pushing everybody else to have them fitted. I always come back to INDORE which the Indian government has showcased, this is completely RF, does not fit your ideology. It made money from day one and issued subsequent orders.
I do not think your Niche mantra fits the bill.

Cricky Colour, LOL. You have not got an answer so you walk away from it. You published an Itron Thailand item that was 9 months old saying it was current and then defend it saying it was more current than CC's video. You then conveniently side step and go onto something else. Now you will not comment on Thailand because you got it all wrong.
As with all of Smart you have to wait. Trouble is you highlight others statements but denigrate CC's, you just cannot help it.
So do we take it that you consider Hardman's (May21) appraisal as truthful.
Colour you are a lot of hot air who jumps on anything that appears to be negative for CC.

Reading over Thailand situation I note that JST and Forth are influential across Thailand and as JST is a heavy investor in CC I would think that there is a lot for them to play for. As we know there are only two energy suppliers, MEA with 4m customers and PEA with 20m+. I believe they are both State owned so they are the only two obstacles not dozens of Utilities.
As JC said our Comms was head and shoulders above the competition in MEA we could just get the whole lot, any chance do you think. After all Itron may be having difficulties, so Forth may get manufacturing or it could be that CC could go in Itron box, we have been partners.

I have been invested in some big companies but have not expected them to reveal every contract they will have won or given out.
Unless you are saying Hardman (May21) told a lot of lies then I would say something has happened between CC and Intellismart.
I do not know what but equally neither do you.
Hardman gave that information out so are you saying it was all lies and fraudulent. They would be chancing their arm if it was.

CC is not required to RNS on all contracts, only where there is a significant change I believe. supposing it was done at cost to secure the bigger orders that were coming or lower enough initially to not register.
You remember way back the original 5m unit order, I think you made some comments at the time.
There is a lot going on behind the scenes and you are nowhere near that info I feel.

Coming back to Hardman report where CC is sorting out the challenges that particular meters have incurred.
No one is going a admit if it is theirs, neither is Intellismart, just want it sorted without embarrassment, interesting Colour someone installed the meters that CC is rectifying. Who knows.

Well Colour I now have to say to do your own researching, not that the outcome is important. We all know, including you, that INDORE (you will remember that City forever more) yes INDORE has been very successful and JVVNL did not let CC contract lapse but picked when they were allowed to. Regarding China, if I can remember you most certainly can, CC were on a tender that was successful, then the greedy group dropped CC for a cheaper China version, then China was barred by GoI, I am now wondering if CC got picked up again on that Northern contract. You know all this but maybe others do not.
Stop wasting time, newbies want to know whats happening now and that should shortly be known.

The trouble is Colour, I have the knowledge of a layman looking at CC's progress through a minefield which also all of the likewise treading. The problem is you, with your limited knowledge, are only singling out CC for criticism. Going back to when you said CC RF not needed in India to now saying they are not getting/proceeding fast enough with contracts.
INDORE is probably the only Smart that made a profit from the moment of installation and quickly got extended contract.
It will be interesting to see how much of these 37m unit contract tenders CC is included in and how many they get.

JVVNL got delayed through no fault of their own but are now going well.
INDORE heaped praises on the system and Gov show cased it.

Do take control of yourself Colour. CC's main area is India and as we have seen these current contracts are held until this 99.5% criteria is met, so all in same boat. This month should see the conclusion of test then we will all know what is going on.
Should CC then get volume orders stock price should jump. INDORE and JVVNL are good indicators of CC ability to meet criteria and produce fast installs so I am happy.

Good idea jake.. final word from me India Utilities I believe have their own HES. If States have total control I don't know.

Hello jake.. as I understand it UK DCC is unique in providing joined up Comms. This massive building covering all of UK.
I would not think in any way India has the same, each Utility having its own HES Data control.
Just as a matter of interest if UK had gone down the route of RF with say Ofcom as the link/arbitrator for customers they could possibly have done something as simple as Openreach with a code number for suppliers but thats Government for you.

jake, are you saying that each Utility in India does not have its own HES because I am saying they do.
So different HES in each Utility.
Also are you saying that Inellinsmart are not having troubles when Gov is holding all contracts because of SLA.

Hi jake.. the SMETS1 issue was resolved at DCC end which I assume is equivalent to HES.
MOU is an understanding but I take it you also read the Hardman report which said 'under the terms' etc giving a different meaning.
HES are produced by different companies who win a contract, so does not mean that CC HES cannot deal with all meters, if HES is the problem. In which case CC HES would be an essential item.
However I would not be surprised if it was the meters themselves where CC has achieved the 99.5% standard.
I feel CC will do very well in next couple of months.

Not necessary Colour. Straight forward, Intellismart had troubles with contractors it engaged not delivering to the required standard and brought in CC to sort it out. Had to be non-binding in case they also could not resolve it, I am sure all will be told shortly. Didn't Trilliant provide the HES, jake commented that HES's may be at fault.

jake.. I understood that CC was brought into Intellismart to sort out the meters that had been installed not the HES, however could be both, I think Trilliant had the HES. JC has said that CC RF Cellular works with all meters, that by definition to me means all HES. From what was said CC was to be used on future contracts. This all takes time which you and Colour know but will not accept. It is the same for all companies. 37m units of contracts are temporarily held until this month and we should soon know outcome, with CC confident due to success with INDORE.
We should soon also hear on Thailand which could prove to be rewarding.
