Nice reply Colour, we have no figures at present, but if we did achieve the current pricing per million and achieved the 20% minimum of the 250m units as has been predicted then I think you will agree 400p is on the cards.
That is just with India, surrounding countries and Thailand could come into play.
As you know I look on the bright side otherwise I would be gone.

I was of the opinion that JC was holding back the update awaiting this type of news.
I think we should be hearing very shortly from him.
Colour, I don't think you can see the writing on the wall. As Intellismart has now given CC half of the Assam order 300k units plus HES etc etc, I see no reason for CC not getting the other half and replicating INDORE. Once news spreads in the Assam area I don't doubt all the surrounding states will be looking at its SLA efficiency, speed of installation and more important very early returns as with INDORE. If Intellismart entrusts CC with the whole works (HES etc) from now on we should see some very good income.
Recap: in recent contracts CC estimated 1m units to be worth £20m income. If CC now gets large contracts, HES, training etc then allowing for possible volume discounts we may achieve the same £20m.
20% of 250m units (may be more) = 50m units X £20m = 1bn. Possibly an early SP of 400p.
That's got you excited Colour, fill your boots, LOL.

LTI, the only reasoning I can give is that if a company, as with CC (INDORE), can produce evidence that the y meet the requirement then existing contracts can proceed. The alternative is that they have compressed the process because of time.

Difficult to say LTI.
I would think that there have been problems somewhere with Smart Comms, hence SLA test, but I do not think CC has been involved.
You get the feeling that the process has been finished but not made public.
Does that mean, excluding CC as shown with INDORE, that not many have passed.

I think we do need a bit of detail at present as casual viewers may only be looking on a scatter basis.
Once the bigger orders start coming in then it would be a bit repetitive.
As India has a variety of terrain needs, mountains, distance, temperate conditions, and as CC can cater for all of these conditions with an SLA 99.5+% then I feel they are going to be the main Comms supply for Intellismart. Especially as they can cope with all Platforms and connections. As Intellismart are procurers and are part GoI I feel they found in CC the provider for all of their Smart Comms needs and will probably soon be providing us with million unit orders.
Only my thoughts but I think you can feel it.

It Looks like Assam is going to be similar to INDORE which had a quick succession of orders.
As this represents 50% of order I feel that like INDORE the intention is to go total RF which could then rollout to the rest of Assam and possibly surrounding States.

We are all (except you) waiting for good news from JC regarding India and elsewhere.
Whilst it is taking a while this is possibly best position that CC has ever been in.
Hope JC shortly gives us an update, probably waiting to coral all the good news into one presentation.
If me I would consider two presentations, one now with Assam etc together with any updates on existing contracts.
Then another regarding our association with Intellismart/EESL, they are the most important part of the GoI rollout.
We should not forget INDORE, the GoI showcase, CC struck gold there.
There is a lot going on and it might be prudent to give shareholders that feeling of progress.
Only my thoughts but I feel CC is now a major player in the Smarts Comms which is the bit that makes it all work.
Leave you to drown your sorrows at not getting back in earlier but it happens to all of us sometimes Colour.

Yes I think they continued supplying SMETs1, my memory was that SMETS2 was giving a slight problem in the Midlands and Southern remaining SMETs1 were rushed up to keep the works going. At this time Gov took SMETs! off the accounting allowance.
Colour, as you know in India CC/RF does most things including IoT, that's the additional functions which came along after the SMETs2 UK CC contract was signed and possibly would not be used in UK. However handy to have as an house collection point for gadgets.

It probably cost UK a few bob resolving the problem but cheaper than replacing SMETs1.
I don't know if SMETs2 perform any additional functions like IoT, CC did some additional function upgrade for Toshiba but I think a noticeable advantage was that SMETs2 cost about half the price.
SMETs1 probably did not cover poor reception areas so the 'notspots' like old buildings etc still remain. Perhaps these will now be addressed by CC.

Quite right Colour, should not make too many assumptions, like CC would not be needed and now they are.
Was it not in that area some time back that they had a major blackout and stopped installations.
May be different area close by but Smart meters do give problems and need sorting out as Hardman said.
Could be very good news for CC.

Colour, you have always been on about how slow India is, so these delays will have to be overcome, importance is ground level problems as opposed to office level.
Did work stop because of previous smarts, if so should pick up once new meters available.
You can always offer a little more at manual level, its the offices that milk it.

Hello ITT, I initially wondered why we have had to wait so long but a lot seems to be happening that is only half way there.
I feel SLA has been resolved but that case may have only related to public utilities. However with Assam and latest 5m unit comments I should think CC will shortly have more than enough on its plate.
I feel we are in the big league.

To my mind CC is definitely a strong buy.

Colour, with INDORE I feel the Utility is just happy with running an efficient Smart meter system and very early profits. Anytihng else is probably just an add on and keeps them in the public eye as number one city.
I reckon Smart is now going to rollout fast as many contracts (37m units worth) were about to be signed (not tendered) and waiting for SLA result.

Far from it Colour, it means that INDORE are using the Smarts to the greatest advantage .
If you have something that can do most things with Smart why not take advantage of Smart minds.
I do not know if it is possible but if installing a CC Smart meter can give you all the facilities you need in this smart world of IoT then why not go for it. If this is the case quite a cost effective piece of equipment.

Well Colour that argument does not hold up.
Seem to remember this 5m unit order was some time ago, Hardman said Intellismart were having trouble with some meters, apparently CC was asked to step in and sort it out for them, GoI set an SLA requirement, why because the Smarts were not up to standard.
In the meantime INDORE and MYSORE were well underway with CC leading the contracts, both making good money and efficient, the GoI were praising CC, then along comes this SLA clampdown which I would suggest had nothing to do with CC's performances, so where do we look for faults the 5m contract I would suggest.
I think this strict SLA requirement is the result of others and not CC, unfortunately instead of picking on the faulty meters and banning them they chose the industry as a whole slowing everything down but only that and it will be away soon.

Colour whilst you are stabbing at Christmas my reckoning a month, Intellismart also has a lot riding on this.
If the 5m units you were heralding do live up to expectancy you can see the reason for GoI requiring this SLA guarantee.
There is still 250m units out there and money to be saved so this set back is only brief I feel.
Do I take it you still do not want CC to succeed.
